Reina, the Tekken 8 newcomer from the Mishima bloodline, is crossing into Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves as a playable DLC fighter. SNK has confirmed her as a Season 3 addition, set to arrive in December 2026, closing out the game’s third season pass lineup. The reveal ties together two of fighting games’ long-running rivals, with Geese Howard appearing opposite her in the footage.
Quick answer: Reina from Tekken 8 joins Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves in December 2026 as the final Season 3 DLC Characters slot.
What the Reina reveal shows
A neon glow cuts through the fog as a lone silhouette crosses the street toward a towering skyline; the scene then moves to a temple-like location. Narration names South Town’s new ruler while blue energy surrounds Geese Howard, and Reina emerges from the shadows to face him. Both fighters power up, shifting stances as electricity crackles around them.

Reina’s face reveal confirms the design players know from Tekken 8: a purple and black zip-up hoodie with white diagonal stripes, dark undershirt and shorts, fingerless gloves, and short dark hair with purple highlights. She smirks, poses, and delivers a kick wrapped in yellow lightning before her name splashes across the screen framed in purple electricity. Geese counters with his signature blue-charged fists.

Flames and sparks sweep across the screen as the Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves and Tekken 8 logos appear one after the other. The clip closes on a promotional card showing the supported platform logos beside the words “REINA COMING DECEMBER”.

Reina rounds out the Season 3 roster. Three fighters are already playable, and the remaining three release across the final quarter of 2026. Manjiro Sano and Ken Ryuguji from Tokyo Revengers share a single slot, the same way such pairings have been handled before.
| Character | Release window |
|---|---|
| Rick Strowd | Available now |
| Duck King | Available now |
| Kim Kaphwan | Available now |
| Manjiro Sano & Ken Ryuguji | October 2026 |
| Laocorn | November 2026 |
| Reina | December 2026 |

Manjiro Sano and Ken Ryuguji arrive on October 22, 2026, the same day the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game launches.
A return visit between two franchises
Geese Howard’s presence in the teaser is a nod to history. Geese joined Tekken 7 as a guest fighter in November 2017, bringing his signature moves and the Howard Estate stage into Bandai Namco’s series. Reina heading the other direction, from Tekken 8 into Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, effectively returns the favor nearly a decade later.
City of the Wolves has steadily expanded its roster with guests from outside its own universe, including Street Fighter’s Ken and Chun-Li, Fist of the North Star’s Kenshiro, and the Tokyo Revengers duo already lined up for Season 3.
Editions, pricing, and platforms
Two packages close out the trailer. The Revenge Edition bundles the base game with all three season passes, while the Starter Edition carries the base game plus a pre-order costume. Season Pass 3, which contains the Season 3 fighters including Reina, is also sold on its own.
| Edition | Contents | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Revenge Edition | Base Game + Season Pass 1 + Season Pass 2 + Season Pass 3 | $49.99 / €49.99 |
| Season Pass 3 | Season 3 DLC Characters | $19.99 / €19.99 |
| Starter Edition | Base Game + pre-order bonus costume | — |
Pre-ordering the Starter Edition comes with the DLC costume “Classic Mai Shiranui”. The digital version is dated October 22, 2026, and the physical release follows in January 2027.
Supported platforms span current and last-generation hardware across all three families, plus two PC storefronts:
- Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch
- PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4
- Xbox Series X|S
- Steam and Epic Games Store
With three fighters already live and Laocorn due in November, Reina’s December launch marks the end of Season 3. Players holding the Revenge Edition or Season Pass 3 will receive her automatically once she goes live, while anyone outside those bundles can expect her to sell as individual DLC the way the earlier Season 3 characters have.
