Set Nightmare difficulty, replay Chapter 10’s first fight, and chain six parries to grab one of the game’s trickier trophies.

The Untouchable trophy in Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy asks you to parry six enemy attacks in a row. It is the hardest miscellaneous combat trophy in the set, but it becomes simple once you fight in a spot with lots of melee enemies who swing at you constantly. Chapter 10’s opening encounter is that spot.

Quick answer: Set the difficulty to Nightmare, use Chapter Select to load Chapter 10 (Parallel paths), Sub-chapter 1 (The bridge), run to the first fight, circle the melee enemies until they surround you, then parry six of their attacks within two to three seconds.

What triggers Untouchable

The trophy fires when you land six successful parries back to back. In practice that means blocking six separate enemy swings without breaking the chain, which works best when several enemies are attacking you at almost the same time. Aim to land those six parries inside a two to three second window so the game reads them as a continuous streak.

Difficulty does not affect any trophy in the game, so you can technically earn this on Narrative. Nightmare is still the better choice here because enemies attack far more often and more aggressively, which gives you the steady stream of incoming swings the streak depends on.

Set up Nightmare difficulty and load the right chapter

From the main menu, open Settings, then General, and change Difficulty to Nightmare. This setting can be changed at any time, so you can switch it back afterward if you find the harder combat uncomfortable.
Return to the main menu and open Chapter Selection. Scroll down to X – Parallel paths and pick the first sub-chapter, 1 – The bridge, then choose Confirm. Note that any progress in a chapter you were partway through will be lost when you jump to this one.

Reach the first fight and chain the parries

The sub-chapter starts in a rocky canyon. Follow the linear path forward alongside Sophia, crossing the wooden scaffold bridges and climbing the stone ledges until you drop down into the first combat arena.

Once the enemies spot you, run around the arena in tight circles so the melee attackers bunch up and close in around you. You want them packed together rather than spread out, so they all swing at you within the same short window.

When you are surrounded, stop moving and start parrying as each enemy swings. Time each parry to their attacks and keep the rhythm going for six hits in a row. With a full group of aggressive Nightmare enemies, the swings come fast enough to complete the streak in a couple of seconds.

How to confirm the trophy unlocked

The moment your sixth consecutive parry lands, the Untouchable trophy notification pops up on screen. If it does not appear, the chain was broken somewhere, so pull the enemies back together and try the six-parry run again from the same fight.

Why the streak fails to register

  • Enemies are too spread out, so their swings arrive too far apart to count as a continuous chain.
  • A dodge, hit, or missed input breaks the run before you reach six, resetting the count.
  • You are fighting on a lower difficulty where fewer attacks come in, making it harder to land six parries in quick succession.

All combat trophies in Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy can be farmed through Chapter Select using checkpoint restarts, so there is no penalty for retrying. If a run goes wrong, restart the checkpoint and set up the same crowd of melee enemies until the six-parry chain lands cleanly and the trophy unlocks.
