Ride a Dino! on Roblox is a catch-and-collect game. You sprint down a canyon, jump onto stampeding dinosaurs, hang on until they’re tamed, and drop them in a pen where they earn cash every second. The Magma Meteor Chest is a limited-time, Robux-only loot box that skips most of that grind. On a brand-new account, a single chest produced an Eternal-rarity Magma King Yeti worth $15M per second, more than the rest of that early pen combined by several orders of magnitude.
Quick answer: The Magma Meteor Chest costs 80 R$ per roll and gives a 7.5% King Yeti chance. A winning roll shows an “ETERNAL!” banner, the MAGMA King Yeti name, and a $15M/s earning rate.
Ride a Dino! from an empty pen
A fresh account opens with the prompt “Your pen is empty! Catch a dino in the canyon.” The tutorial run leaves a Dodo behind from the stampede, then points you toward a Pachycephalosaur. To tame one, you jump onto its back and stay balanced while a heart meter fills. The game confirms each catch with messages like “You tamed a Pachycephalosaur!” and then tells you to go back to your pen to deposit it.

Early income is small. The Pachycephalosaur earns $2/s and an Ostrich earns $6/s. The first Dino Machine is a Dodo that trains +2 Stamina/s and costs $300. The account in the footage also had timed boosts running on the left side of the HUD: x2 LUCK, x4 MONEY and x4 STAMINA.

The chest sits in the shop’s featured slot with a “Limited Time!” tag and a countdown. During the session it read “Ends in 3d 0h”, which is not a fixed end date, and no official end date is confirmed. Bulk bundles lower the price per chest.
| Bundle | Price | Per chest |
|---|---|---|
| 1 Chest | 80 R$ | 80 R$ |
| 3 Chests | 200 R$ | ~67 R$ |
| 10 Chests | 640 R$ | 64 R$ |
| 50 Chests | 2800 R$ | 56 R$ |
The Starter Pack next to it also costs 80 R$ but can be bought only once per account. It contains:
- A Rainbow Giant Raptor earning $41.2K/s
- +50K cash
- +250K stamina
- The Silver Aura
The Starter Pack is a guaranteed small bump. The chest is a gamble with a much higher ceiling. For one roll, both cost the same.
Meteor Chest drop odds
The chest makes two separate rolls, one for species and one for size. The species pool has seven entries, and King Yeti is the fifth most likely.
| Species | Chance |
|---|---|
| Ankylosaurus | 38% |
| Raptor | 24% |
| Triceratops | 18% |
| Spinosaurus | 11% |
| King Yeti | 7.5% |
| Skeletal Rex | 1% |
| Drex | 0.5% |
| Size | Chance |
|---|---|
| Normal | 50% |
| Big | 28% |
| Giant | 14% |
| Huge | 6% |
| Colossal | 2% |
The odds screen gives no separate percentage for the Magma variant or the Eternal rarity. The 7.5% figure is the chance of rolling a King Yeti at all. It is not the chance of getting the exact $15M/s version shown below. The odds also don’t say whether the x2 LUCK boost affects chest rolls.

Eternal Magma King Yeti: Income and riding
A winning roll is obvious. The chest opens under an “ETERNAL!” banner with the MAGMA King Yeti name and a $15M/s rate. The reveal card also has a “SHATTER +60” tag. Once it’s in the pen, the Yeti earns passively like any other dinosaur, just at a scale that makes the starter earners irrelevant.

The table below puts that number next to dinosaurs caught by hand on the same account. The Yeti still earns more than all of them.
| Dinosaur | Earning rate |
|---|---|
| MAGMA King Yeti (Eternal) | $15M/s |
| Cosmic Spinosaurus | $1M/s |
| Huge Mammoth | $210K/s |
| Big MagmaReaver | $180K/s |
| Tyrannosaurus | $28K/s |
| Big LichSpinosaur | $27.7K/s |
| Legendary Brachiosaurus | $2.8K/s |
| Ostrich | $6/s |
| Pachycephalosaur | $2/s |
The Yeti also works as a mount. Any dinosaur in your pen can be ridden by pressing E, and the game says “Ride your fastest dino! It keeps earning money while you ride.” On the Yeti’s first trip, the player got deep into the Plains and caught a Legendary Brachiosaurus before getting knocked down.

Stamina is the real bottleneck
A strong mount doesn’t remove the game’s main limit. Stamina decides how long you can stay on a dinosaur and whether you can tame it. Bigger and rarer species need far more of it, with Cosmic and top-end Legendary or Mythic dinosaurs needing stamina in the millions. That’s why the chest was followed by a round of stamina purchases.
Grip multipliers
Grip multipliers are Robux purchases that stack and multiply how fast stamina is gained while training on a Dino Machine. In the footage they were bought one after another, each tier costing roughly double the last.
| Item | Price |
|---|---|
| Ride A Dino – x2 Grip | 3 R$ |
| Ride A Dino – x4 Grip | 6 R$ |
| Ride A Dino – x8 Grip | 12 R$ |
| Ride A Dino – x16 Grip | 24 R$ |
| Ride A Dino – x32 Grip | 48 R$ |
| Ride A Dino – x64 Grip | 104 R$ |
| Ride A Dino – x128 Grip | 160 R$ |
| Ride A Dino – x256 Grip | 240 R$ |
Buying the full set up to x256 costs 597 R$. Machines are upgraded with in-game cash. After the Dodo, the Compy adds +5 Stamina/rep for $15K, and the Carnotaurus goes from +100 to +200 Stamina/s for $75B. With the Yeti’s income, the Carnotaurus upgrade was affordable almost right away.
Aura Shop multipliers
Auras apply an overall stamina multiplier. Each one can be bought with cash or Robux. Cash prices rise very steeply, while Robux prices stay fairly modest.
| Aura (level, rarity) | Stamina | Cash | Robux |
|---|---|---|---|
| Silver (1, Common) | x1.5 | $100 | 9 R$ |
| Lime (2, Common) | x1.75 | $5K | 16 R$ |
| Cyan (3, Uncommon) | x2 | $75K | 24 R$ |
| Cobalt (4, Uncommon) | x2.25 | $1.5M | 40 R$ |
| Violet (5, Rare) | x2.5 | $30M | 64 R$ |
| Blaze (8, Epic) | x3.25 | $500B | 160 R$ |
| Crimson (9, Legendary) | x3.5 | $12.5T | 240 R$ |
| Emerald (10, Legendary) | x3.75 | $300T | 320 R$ |
| Divine (11, Mythic) | x4 | $5Qa | 400 R$ |
The Divine Aura was bought for 400 R$. Together with the chest and the full grip set, that brings the session’s Robux spending to 1,077 R$.

What the Magma King Yeti account reached
Using the Yeti as a mount while stamina climbed quickly let each canyon trip reach farther. The route starts in Plains, proceeds to Desert, moves on to Snow and then Jungle, reaches Abyssal Ocean, continues into Volcano, and ends in Extinction. During breaks, the pen was upgraded to Level 5, Dino Index rewards were collected, and surplus low-rarity dinosaurs were sold at the Sell Dinos stand for $112K.
- Desert and Snow run: Mythic LichSpinosaur, Tyrannosaurus, Rainbow Huge Leaellynasaura, Huge Mammoth
- Multi-biome run through Volcano: Cosmic Big Spinosaurus, ended when a Hellasaurus Rex stomped the player
- Run after the “A Secret BIG King Yeti spawned in Snow !” alert: several Mythic and Legendary catches, including a MagmaReaver
- Pen income after “Equip Best”: $29.9B/Day offline, with stamina above 4.2 million
Secret dinosaurs still appear in the wild through server-wide alerts, such as a Secret SILVER TINY Skeletal Rex in Extinction. They are separate from the chest. The chest is the only reliable way to roll for a King Yeti from the shop, and it accepts Robux only. Ride a Dino! is available on Roblox. Several experiences share the name, so make sure you’re in the right one before spending on any chest.
