Rwag Rogue Trainer Location in the Valley of Trials (World of Warcraft)

Every new rogue who starts in the Valley of Trials trains with a single orc named Rwag. He stands inside The Den, the large cave carved into the rock face near the center of the starting zone in Durotar. Reaching him takes less than a minute once you know where the cave entrance is.

Rwag is the only rogue trainer in this starting zone. He teaches Horde rogues their early abilities and can be visited again each time you level up while you remain in the Valley of Trials.

In the 1–5 starter zones, trainers teach only abilities through level 6. After reaching that point, continue your training with Kaplak at Razor Hill.

How to reach Rwag inside The Den

Start at the central campfire area of the Valley of Trials. Open your map to confirm your position; The Den sits toward the middle of the zone as a large cave marked into the cliff.

Head toward the large archway entrance carved into the rock. You will recognise it by the fabric banners draped across the opening.

Enter The Den and pass through the entrance tunnel. You will run by Gornek and the Den Grunts standing near the front of the cave.

Continue straight and down into the deeper part of the cave, then turn toward the alcove with a campfire and hanging cloth banners. Rwag stands there. Interact with him and choose the training option to open his ability list.

What Rwag trains and how to know it worked

Speak with Rwag and choose “I would like training” to view the abilities available for purchase at your current level. Early rogue choices include Backstab and Pick Pocket. One ability can be learned at level 1; more become available at level 4 and at every even level afterward.

The training worked when the ability appears in your spellbook and is no longer greyed out in Rwag’s list. Any coin cost is deducted from your bags at the moment you confirm the purchase, and the new ability becomes usable right away.

Once you have trained everything available and reached the trainer’s level cap, the next stop is Kaplak in Razor Hill, who continues rogue training beyond the starter abilities.
