Ascension is the late-game stat progression track in Sailor Piece, run through the Ascensions NPC on Sailor Island. Each tier you clear permanently stacks +10% Money, +10% Gems, and +5% Luck, with +2% CDR added on most tiers through Ascension V and again at Ascension X. Max out all ten, and you walk away with +100% Money, +100% Gems, +50% Luck, and +10% CDR account-wide.

How Ascension works in Sailor Piece
Each Ascension is a checklist of level thresholds, kill counts, damage totals, ability uses, dungeon clears, and specific material drops. You cannot skip a tier, and the buffs are permanent once applied. The Ascensions NPC sits inside the temple on Sailor Island, on the left side as you enter. Hold E to open the requirement panel, and the Ascend button becomes active only when every line is checked off.
Two side systems gate the later tiers. Shadow Dungeon clears are required from Ascension III onward, and Rune Dungeon clears kick in at Ascension VI. Both are unlocked at the Dungeons NPC after collecting six Ancient Puzzles across Starter, Jungle, Desert, Snow, Shibuya, and Hueco Mundo, and each run costs one Dungeon Key.

All Ascension requirements and rewards
The rewards are identical in pattern, so the real variance is in the requirement list. Tiers I through V grant +2% CDR each, VI through IX drop the CDR bonus, and X adds +2% CDR back in.

Where to farm every Ascension material
Most materials come from specific world bosses on a fixed spawn cadence, and a few drop only inside dungeons or boss events. Prioritize bosses that cover more than one requirement at a time so kill counts, damage, and material drops all tick up together.
| Material | Source | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Void Fragment | Gojo (Limitless Sorcerer) | Shibuya Station |
| Limitless Ring | Gojo | Shibuya Station |
| Dismantle Fang | Sukuna | Shibuya Station |
| Dark Ring | Jinwoo (Solar Hunter) | Sailor Island |
| Reiatsu Core | Aizen | Hueco Mundo |
| Blood Ring | Alucard | Sailor Island |
| Hog Fragment (Hogyoku) | Aizen | Hueco Mundo |
| Atomic Core | Shadow Dungeon boss | Dungeon Island |
| Soul Flame | Ichigo (summoned) | Boss Island |
| Cursed Flesh | Strongest In History | Shinjuku Island |
| Infinity Essence | Strongest Of Today | Shinjuku Island |
| Phantasm Core | Gilgamesh (Divine Grail summon) | Boss Island |
| Slime Core | Rimuru (Slime Key summon) | Slime Island |
| Azure Heart | Yamato | Judgement Island |
| Evolution Fragment | True Manipulator | Soul Dominion Island (Hogyoku quest required) |
| Path Fragment | Strongest Shinobi | Ninja Island |
| Corrupt Crown | Corrupted Knight / Boss Rush | Boss Island |

Dungeon gates you should unlock early
Shadow Dungeon is the first dungeon you'll need, starting at Ascension III with ten Easy clears, scaling to Medium at IV, then Hard at V and every tier after. Rune Dungeon arrives at Ascension VI with ten Medium clears, then locks into Hard from VII onward. Both dungeons have 15 waves across Easy, Medium, Hard, and Extreme difficulties, and the Shadow boss can drop the Atomic Core needed for Ascension V.
Clear the Ancient Puzzle collection for the Dungeons NPC well before you finish Ascension II. If you wait, the dungeon grind becomes the bottleneck instead of boss farming.

Stacking kills, bosses, damage, and ability uses
NPC kills, boss kills, damage dealt, and ability uses carry across the full Ascension track, so farming is most efficient when a single loop advances several counters at once. Park yourself on the highest comfortable quest zone, rotate abilities on cooldown instead of auto-attacking, and use boss downtime to tag material bosses that spawn on timers.
Quest zones that scale up through Shibuya Station, Slime Island, and Academy Island are the strongest for raw NPC counts because the mobs also pay out meaningful rewards. A few bosses double up efficiently: Gojo drops both Void Fragment and Limitless Ring, Aizen covers Reiatsu Core and Hogyoku Fragment, and the two Shinjuku key bosses share the Cursed Flesh and Infinity Essence windows.
Ascension IX and X: The real walls
Ascension IX introduces Boss Rush as a hard requirement: 15 clears on Medium difficulty or higher. Ascension X adds Infinite Tower Floor 75+ twice, which is a pure build check. Both are gating content, not grind content, so brute-forcing them with a half-finished loadout wastes runs.
Evolution Fragment is the other choke point. It drops from the True Manipulator on Soul Dominion Island, which only opens after you finish the Hogyoku quest by finding all six Hogyoku Fragment locations. Start that quest chain before you reach Ascension IX, not after.

How to confirm an Ascension applied
When you hold E at the Ascensions NPC, every completed requirement shows a green tick, and the Ascend button becomes clickable. After pressing Ascend, the NPC advances to the next tier's checklist, and your stat panel reflects the new permanent buffs. If the button stays greyed out, at least one line on the list is still missing a tick; open the requirement panel and compare your counters to the target values.
Material counts pull from your inventory directly, so if a drop is sitting in an unclaimed reward or mail, claim it first before trying to ascend.
