Bloodlines are the newest permanent buff layer in Sailor Piece, added alongside the Sea 2 expansion. They stack on top of race and clan passives, roll randomly from a single consumable item, and range from near-useless starter packages to build-defining stat lines for sword and melee damage.
There are nine bloodlines in the pool right now, and you get one at random every time you consume a Bloodline Stone. The stone drops from Sea 2 NPCs, with Sea Beasts being the most reliable source. Legendary-rarity bloodlines have a pity of 750 rolls, so expect a long grind if you're chasing Primordial or Astral without luck.

Full bloodline stats
Every bloodline provides a flat package of passive bonuses. The five damage-and-survivability stats (Damage, Damage Reduction, Luck Multi, Sword or Melee Damage Multi, Max HP) matter most for combat, while Gems Gain, Money Gain, and XP Gain are farming-focused.
| Bloodline | Stats |
|---|---|
| Primordial | +27% Damage, +5% Damage Reduction, +15% Luck Multi, +10% Melee Damage Multi, +40% Max HP |
| Astral | +30% Damage, +10% Luck Multi, +2% Lifesteal, +10% Sword Damage Multi, +35% Max HP |
| Dawnbringer | +20% Damage, +2% Damage Reduction, +7% Luck Multi, +7% Sword Damage Multi |
| Nightfall | +17% Damage, +1% Lifesteal, +17% Max HP, +5% Luck Multi |
| Demonblood | +22% Damage, +1% Lifesteal, +7% Melee Damage Multi |
| Vizard | +15% Damage, +15% Gems Gain, +20% Max HP |
| Hunter | +10% Damage, +10% Money Gain, +10% Gems Gain, +15% Max HP |
| Stormborn | +12% Damage, +10% XP Gain, +12% Max HP |
| Commoner | +7% Damage, +10% Max HP, +10% XP Gain |
Luck Multi and regular Luck are the same underlying stat, despite the different label, so treat any percentage under Luck Multi as straight luck scaling.
Tier list
The ranking below weighs total combat value first, with farming utility as a secondary factor. Anything below B is outclassed for endgame play.
| Tier | Bloodlines | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| S | Primordial, Astral | Primordial for melee and luck builds; Astral for sword builds with sustain |
| A | Dawnbringer, Nightfall | Hybrid sword offense (Dawnbringer) or all-around tanky combat (Nightfall) |
| B | Demonblood, Vizard | Melee damage with lifesteal, or gem farming with modest HP |
| C | Hunter, Stormborn | Money and gem farming, or early Sea 2 leveling |
| D | Commoner | Placeholder only — reroll immediately |
Primordial wins the top slot because nothing else stacks +27% Damage, +40% Max HP, +5% Damage Reduction, +10% Melee Damage Multi, and +15% Luck Multi in one package. It's the most well-rounded roll for anyone not locked into a sword-scaling build.
Astral edges Primordial on raw damage (+30%) and adds 2% lifesteal plus sword scaling, making it the default choice if your main weapon is a sword like Shadow Monarch, Ice Queen, or Atomic. The trade-off is slightly less HP and no damage reduction.
Dawnbringer and Nightfall sit a clear tier below the top two but still carry useful combat stats. Dawnbringer leans offensive with sword scaling and some damage reduction, while Nightfall focuses on survivability with HP and lifesteal.
Vizard and Hunter are the farming picks. Vizard's +15% Gems Gain helps when you're grinding currency, and Hunter stacks both Gems and Money Gain at the cost of almost no combat scaling.

How to get Bloodline Stones
Bloodline Stones drop from NPCs in Sea 2. Any Sea 2 enemy can potentially drop one, but drop rates are low on standard mobs. Sea Beasts in the second sea are the most reliable farm because they have a confirmed drop on defeat.
If you're struggling with late-game bosses, the first island of Sea 2 has 10 enemies per spawn cycle instead of the usual 5, which makes it a solid early grind spot when paired with the Quake fruit for AoE clears. Once your damage scales up, move to the latest unlocked location for better stone rates.
Stacking luck helps. The Eminence Clan passive and the Fortune Chosen spec passive both grant +chance of obtaining +1 drop, which directly improves how often stones appear. Combine those with any Luck Multi from your bloodline, race, and runes for the best results.

Using and rerolling bloodlines
Step 1: Open your inventory and locate the Bloodline Stone. It looks like a small glowing stone icon in your items tab.
Step 2: Use the stone. You'll receive one random bloodline from the nine-entry pool, and it will automatically equip.
Step 3: Check your stat menu to see which bloodline you rolled and confirm the bonuses are applied. If it's below A-tier, consume another stone to reroll. Each stone gives a completely independent roll.
Pity on the legendary rarity is 750 rolls, so if you're specifically chasing Primordial or Astral without lucky RNG, budget accordingly. Trading with other players through the in-game trade menu is an alternative if you'd rather swap rather than grind.

Which bloodline matches your build
| Build type | Best bloodline | Backup option |
|---|---|---|
| Melee / fist-based damage | Primordial | Demonblood |
| Sword damage (Shadow Monarch, Ice Queen, Atomic) | Astral | Dawnbringer |
| Tank / survivability | Primordial | Nightfall |
| Luck / drop farming | Primordial | Astral |
| Currency farming (gems, money) | Vizard | Hunter |
| Early Sea 2 leveling | Stormborn | Commoner |
Primordial shows up as the top pick for almost every combat use case because its stat spread doesn't specialize, it just gives more of everything that matters. The only time Astral wins outright is when you're running a sword as your primary weapon and want the extra sword damage multiplier to stack with race bonuses like Sunborn or Kitsune.
What's still unclear
A few details about the bloodline system haven't been fully confirmed yet. The exact rarity table and per-roll percentages for each bloodline aren't publicly documented, only the 750-roll pity for legendary rarity. Whether all Sea 2 NPCs share the same stone drop rate or if specific enemy types are better farms beyond Sea Beasts is also still being tracked by the community.
For now, the nine bloodlines listed here are the complete pool. If you roll anything outside the S or A tier and you're building for endgame combat, keep farming stones and rerolling until Primordial or Astral lands.
