Sailor Piece Race Tier List (June 2026): Archangel Leads Every Build

Every Sailor Piece race ranked by stats, with the top picks for grinding, sword, melee, and luck setups.

Every Sailor Piece race ranked by stats, with the top picks for grinding, sword, melee, and luck setups.

Your race is the foundation of any Sailor Piece character. It sets your base bonuses for damage, health, luck, and weapon multipliers before you stack on clans, runes, and bloodlines. After the King Update, Archangel sits at the top of the list, but the right pick depends on whether you are grinding for drops, building around a sword, or going pure melee.

Quick answer: Reroll until you get Archangel for the strongest all-around race. If you want a combat-only setup, Reaper gives the highest sword damage; for farming rare drops, Luckborn or Kitsune push your luck the furthest.

How to change your race in Sailor Piece

Every character starts as Human, which carries no stat bonuses. To switch to a stronger race, you use Race Rerolls. Each reroll randomly assigns a new race, so reaching a top-tier option like Archangel usually takes many attempts. Keep rerolling until you land one of the S-tier races below.

You can confirm your current race at any time by opening the Stats tab on your character. The race name and its bonuses appear there, so you know exactly what is active before committing more rerolls.

These rankings reflect the current meta after the King Update. Higher tiers offer better damage, survivability, or luck scaling, while D-tier races are mostly placeholders until you can reroll into something stronger.

Best races for each build

Archangel is the best race overall. It pairs huge raw damage with high luck and equal bonuses to both sword and melee weapons, so it works for grinding and PvP no matter how you fight. The +55% luck and +15% double drop chance also make it strong for farming boss rewards.

Reaper is the pick for pure damage. It carries the highest sword damage multiplier at +35% plus execute damage and lifesteal, making it ideal for a sword-focused combat build. If you mainly want survivability while grinding, Angel trades some power for one of the highest luck boosts in its rarity. Sword users who do not have Reaper yet can roll Wraith as a stepping stone.

For luck-focused farming, Luckborn and Kitsune stand out. Luckborn stacks a +35% luck bonus on top of strong damage and health, while Kitsune’s +25% luck multiplier directly raises rare drop rates from bosses. Melee mains who miss the top races can fall back on Warlord, Galevorn, or Oni, all of which carry +20% to +22% melee multipliers.

Fitting your race into a full build

Race choice should line up with the rest of your character. A damage-focused sword build pairs well with Reaper alongside the Demonic bloodline and the Kuchiki clan, while a pure luck setup runs Archangel with the Luck Relic, Radiant Rune, and the Ghoul bloodline. For melee, Archangel still works as the base, supported by the Senzu clan and a Primordial Rune.

Because race rerolls are easier to farm than top weapons, it is worth spending plenty of them to chase Archangel or Reaper before locking in the rest of your stats. Once your race and supporting gear are set, you can push into the second sea for better experience, money, and rare drops.
