Sea 2 in Sailor Piece sits behind a two-part questline that starts on World Island. You need to meet a level gate, collect two Ancient Fragments scattered across Sea 1, then farm seven Map Pieces from specific bosses before a portal on World Island opens up the new area.

Requirements before starting
The Sea Traveler NPC will not hand over the quest until your character meets the progression gate. You also need an empty quest slot, so drop any active quest before speaking to him.
| Requirement | Value |
|---|---|
| Level | 12,500+ |
| Ascension | 5+ |
| Active quest | None (cancel current quest if needed) |
| Location | World Island (bottom of the teleport menu) |
Start the quest at World Island
Step 1: Open your teleport menu from any island and scroll to the bottom of the list. Select World Island to travel there directly.
Step 2: Head to the central area of World Island and find the Sea Traveler NPC. Interact with him to accept the Lost Fragments quest, which begins the Sea 2 chain.

Quest 1: Lost Fragments
The first objective asks for two Ancient Fragments scattered across Sea 1 islands. Fragments spawn on a short cycle and do not stick around long, so timing matters more than raw exploration.
| Mechanic | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Spawn interval | Every 1 minute 30 seconds |
| Despawn timer | 5 minutes if uncollected |
| Required count | 2 fragments |
| Spawn pool | 20 tracked locations across Sea 1 |
| Private servers | Fragments do spawn in private servers |
The fastest reliable method is a private server. Wait out the 90-second spawn cycle, claim the first fragment, wait another cycle, and grab the second. Public-server hunting works too, but fragments get snatched quickly on busy servers.
Known spawn points cover Starter Island, Desert Island, Snow Island, Shibuya Station, Hollow Island, Shinjuku Island, Slime Island, Academy Island, Judgment Island, Ninja Island, and Lawless Island. Common landmarks include shoreline rocks, windmill roofs, tall building edges, dead trees, and mountain peaks near teleporters.

Quest 2: Map Reconstruction
After handing in the two fragments, the Sea Traveler gives you Map Reconstruction, which requires 7 Map Pieces from Sea 1 bosses. Each piece has a dedicated boss pool, and the drops are not guaranteed on first kill. Expect to repeat some fights.
| Map Piece | Boss Options | Island |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Knight Boss (Saber) or Cursed Vessel (Yuji) | Boss Island / Shibuya Station |
| 2 | Limitless Sorcerer (Gojo) or Cursed King (Sukuna) | Shibuya Station |
| 3 | Solo Hunter (Jinwoo) or Qin Shi | Sailor Island / Boss Island |
| 4 | Vampire King (Alucard) | Sailor Island |
| 5 | Manipulator (Aizen) or Slime (Rimuru) | Hueco Mundo Island / Slime Island |
| 6 | Soul Reaper (Ichigo), Blessed Maiden, or Strongest of Today | Boss Island / Shinjuku Island |
| 7 | Strongest in History or King of Heroes (Gilgamesh) | Shinjuku Island / Boss Island |
Pieces do not have to be collected in order. Spawn bosses you control with keys or summons whenever possible, and fill the gaps with timer-based bosses as they appear. The Vampire King is often the slowest step because it depends on the rotation at Sailor Island.

Enter Sea 2
Once both quests complete, return to World Island. A portal appears next to the Sea Traveler NPC. Interact with it to teleport to Sea 2. If the completion notification glitches out, teleporting back to World Island and using the Sea 2 door still works.
The second sea currently holds four islands: World Island Sea 2, Starter Island Sea 2, Bizarre Island, and Punch Island. Punch Island sits behind Quest 23 with a level range of 14,500 to 99,999, so further progression past the unlock still expects high-level characters.

Skipping the quest through a friend
If a friend has already unlocked Sea 2, you can join their private server, walk to World Island, and use the portal without completing the quests yourself. This is the only way to access Sea 2 without meeting the level and questline requirements directly.
Verifying completion
Two signals confirm the unlock worked: the quest tracker marks both Lost Fragments and Map Reconstruction as complete, and a new portal renders next to the Sea Traveler on World Island. If the portal is missing after a confirmed quest turn-in, rejoin the server and return to World Island. The portal is persistent once the quest chain finishes.
Common reasons the unlock fails to trigger: carrying an active quest when talking to the Sea Traveler, collecting Great Mage fragments instead of Ancient Fragments, or missing the level or ascension gate. Each of these blocks the handoff silently rather than showing an error.
