Money in San Diego Roleplay comes from a small number of high-yield loops, and almost all of them revolve around money printers. Buy them cheap in the smuggling tunnel, get them across the border without a criminal record, and they pay out every second you stay logged in. Everything else — cabbage farming, contraband runs, police raids — is either a booster or a way to take someone else’s printers for yourself.
Quick answer: Buy money printers for $20,000 each from the exclusive dealer inside the smuggling tunnel, drive out through the legal San Diego Checkpoint, place the printers in a rented apartment on an upper floor, and stay in the server with an auto-clicker. Each printer pays roughly $130–$140 per second, or over $8,000 per minute.
Money methods in San Diego Roleplay compared
The right method depends on how much cash you already have and whether you plan to sit in the server or actively drive around. Printers are the highest earner per minute but need capital up front and can be seized. Police work needs nothing to start.
| Method | Payout | Start cost | Main risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| AFK money printers (Civilian) | ~$130–$140 per second, per printer | $20,000 per printer plus rent | Police raid and confiscation |
| Cabbage farm (Civilian) | ~$240,000 per full delivery, plus lobby bonus | $1,250,000 for house and basement | Farm heat triggering a raid |
| Printer confiscation (Police) | $10,000 per printer | $0 | Needs a valid warrant |
| Contraband smuggling (Civilian) | Up to ~$11,000 per run | ~$1,000–$1,250 per fake diamond ring | Arrest at the border |

Add to Google Preferences →How to buy money printers in the smuggling tunnel
Printers are only sold by an NPC dealer inside the hidden tunnel that sits before the main border crossing, and you have to be on the Civilian team to reach it. Entering the tunnel costs $500.

Note: Legal entry is what protects your investment. Police can run an immigration check on any player, and an illegal entry flags you as wanted, which gives an officer grounds for a warrant and a door kick. Crossing at the checkpoint keeps your record clean and your printers off the table.
Set up an AFK printer room in an apartment
Printers only pay while you are in the server, so the apartment build is really about two things: staying connected and staying quiet.

Cabbage farm costs and payouts at the Luxury Beach House
The cabbage farm is the biggest single payout in the game, and it stacks with printers — crops keep growing while you are AFK in the apartment. The entry price is steep, which is why most players fund it with printer money first.
| Purchase | Cost |
|---|---|
| Luxury Beach House | $1,000,000 |
| Basement | $250,000 |
| Seeds | $19,000 |
| Farm upgrades | $150,000 / $300,000 / $400,000 |

Sell in a full server for the lobby bonus
Completing a delivery in a packed server adds a full lobby bonus on top of the sale — over $50,000 extra on a single run in practice. If the server is half empty, it is worth hopping to a busier one before you deliver.
Keep farm heat below 50%
Every sale raises the farm’s heat, and high heat draws police attention to the beach house. Do not spam deliveries back to back. Let the meter cool down between runs and keep it under 50% to avoid a raid on the basement.
Police printer confiscation: $10,000 per printer
If you have no starting cash, the police route costs nothing and pays $10,000 for every printer you seize. You are hunting the exact setup described above, which is why so many AFK players lose their investment.

Note: Forcing a door without a warrant breaks the game’s roleplay rules and can get you moderated. If the immigration check comes back clean, move on to the next room.
Contraband runs with fake diamond rings
Smuggling is the active alternative for players who do not want to sit idle. Fake Diamond Rings cost roughly $1,000 to $1,250 each at the Black Market Goods stand, and a full load sold to the right buyer returns up to around $11,000 per run.
Free starter cash from codes
Codes will not replace a printer setup, but they cover part of the first purchase. GOLDCURRENCY25 pays out $25,000 Cash, and VEHICLETRADING25 also grants free Cash. ElDiabloIsntGettingBuffed has expired. Codes are single-use per account and rotate often, so redeem them as soon as you load in.
To redeem, launch San Diego Roleplay, wait for the main area to load, click the Home button, open the Rewards section, paste the code, and press claim. Your Cash total updates immediately if the code is still valid.
Why the money stops coming in
There are only a few reasons a working setup goes quiet, and each has a specific fix.
| Problem | Cause and fix |
|---|---|
| Printers gone from your apartment | You entered illegally and were flagged, giving police a warrant. Always exit the tunnel and cross at the checkpoint. |
| Balance stopped rising | You were kicked for inactivity. Printers pay only while you are in the server, so keep an auto-clicker running. |
| Police raiding the beach house | Farm heat is too high. Stop selling and let it drop back under 50%. |
| Smaller cabbage payout than expected | The server was not full, so no lobby bonus applied. Deliver in a busy server. |
| No warrant option as police | The immigration check came back legal. You cannot force entry on that unit. |
The most reliable progression is to stack printers first, use the passive income to buy the Luxury Beach House and its basement, then run cabbage deliveries in full servers while the printers keep ticking. Play police when you are short on cash and want an active earner with no upfront cost.
