Sea Monster Update (up next)
The Sea Monster Update is, as the name promises, built around a wave of sea monsters — the developers have not detailed which ones, so the roster is best seen firsthand once it opens. It runs from Saturday, July 25 through Monday, July 27 as a standard two-day weekend window.
It opens at 12:00 PM ET (9:00 AM PT, 4:00 PM UTC / 5:00 PM BST) and closes at the same hour on the Monday. Interest has climbed past 230,000 players, which puts it well ahead of anything else announced, though still behind the game’s two biggest recent drops, Spider Train and the Infected Sky Update.
Infected Sky 2 Update (August 1)
The weekend after that brings a follow-up to July’s Infected Sky Update, described by the developers only as new material for the Infected Sky place. It runs Saturday, August 1 through Monday, August 3, opening at the usual 12:00 PM ET (9:00 AM PT, 4:00 PM UTC / 5:00 PM BST).
Interest sits close to 30,000 so far. That is a long way behind Sea Monster, but these numbers tend to build sharply in the final days before an update opens, and the original Infected Sky Update ended up drawing well over 350,000 before it closed.
Trevor Henderson 2 Update (August 8)
The furthest event on the calendar is a second Trevor Henderson update — the developers haven’t detailed what it includes beyond confirming more from the crossover. It is scheduled as an item-drop event rather than a general content drop, so the emphasis is on what players can collect during the window.
It runs Saturday, August 8 through Monday, August 10, again starting at 12:00 PM ET (9:00 AM PT, 4:00 PM UTC / 5:00 PM BST). Around 24,000 players are marked as going at this early stage.
