Instagram has introduced a new feature which lets users share a post from their feed as a sticker in their Instagram stories.

The new feature can be accessed from the paper airplane sharing menu where other sharing options already reside. However, know that you can only share posts made from public accounts only. You cannot share posts of your friends to your stories unless they’re shared publicly by your friends.

How to share posts as stickers in Instagram stories

  1. Tap on the Paper airplane icon for the post that you’d like to share.
  2. At the top of the sharing list, you’ll see Create a story with this post option, select it.
  3. The post will convert into a sticker with a customized background ready to share. You can rotate and resize the sticker, or tap on it to change styles.
  4. Once done making adjustments, share the story.
