Lured Off Track is a Bronze trophy in Silent Hill: Townfall that asks you to distract 20 enemies using thrown Bottles. It is a cumulative objective, so the total builds up across every playthrough rather than resetting, and you never have to hit all 20 in a single sitting. The fastest way to clear it is to stand in one bottle-rich spot and repeat the same throw over and over.

Quick answer: Distract 20 enemies with thrown Bottles. Find an area with a wandering enemy and spare bottles on the ground, throw a Bottle to pull the enemy toward the noise, grab a replacement, and repeat until the count reaches 20.

What Lured Off Track requires

Only thrown Bottles count. Radios feed a separate trophy (Static Distractions), and setting off a car alarm feeds another (Alarmingly Effective), so keep those distractions off to the side and focus on Bottles here. Bottles first become available during Part 2: Zoe, which is the earliest point you can start banking distractions.

  • Trophy grade: Bronze, in the Combat group.
  • Target: distract 20 separate times with thrown Bottles.
  • Progress carries over between every playthrough.
  • No difficulty requirement — Story Mode counts.

Because the count is cumulative, this pairs naturally with a New Game Plus run where enemies pose little threat and you can farm safely.

How bottle distractions register

A thrown Bottle shatters where it lands and creates an audible noise. Any nearby enemy that is unaware of you breaks off its patrol and moves toward the impact point to investigate. That investigation is what counts as a distraction, so aim the Bottle at a wall, a car, or the ground near an enemy rather than directly at it.

Hold to aim, which brings up a reticle and throw arc, then release to throw. Each successful lure adds one to your running total. Since the tally is cumulative, you can leave and come back later, and any distractions you already banked stay counted.

Farm all 20 distractions in one alley

The most efficient method is to find a foggy alley that has a wandering enemy and loose Bottles lying on the ground. One throw pulls the enemy away, you collect a replacement Bottle nearby, and you repeat the loop without moving far. A single area like this holds enough Bottles to reach 20 on its own.

Equip a Bottle from the weapon menu and hold to aim down the alley. Line the reticle up with a wall or a parked car just to the side of an unaware enemy.

Throw the Bottle. The enemy turns toward the shatter and walks off to investigate, banking one distraction toward your total.
While the enemy is occupied, walk forward and pick up another Bottle from the ground with the interact prompt. This gives you fresh ammo for the next throw.

Confirming the trophy unlocked

Lured Off Track pops as soon as your lifetime distraction total reaches 20. If you do not clear all 20 in one area, that is fine — the counter persists, so any throws you land on a later run add straight onto what you already have until the Bronze trophy unlocks.
