Doomstick is one of the hidden Dark Ops challenges in Sker Ritual, and it only unlocks on Rex Inferno. The requirement itself is short, but the setup is fiddly, because the weapon you need does not exist until you create it mid-match, and it hurts you the moment you pick it up.
Quick answer: Kill the Warden boss with a corrupted weapon — either the corrupted Breacher (Olympia) or the corrupted Nova Line (FAL) — as the final blow.
Doomstick requirements on Rex Inferno
Everything hinges on two things happening in the same match: the corrupted wall buy has to be available, and the Warden fight has to still be ahead of you. Plan the run so you build the weapon before you commit to the boss.
| Requirement | Detail |
|---|---|
| Map | Rex Inferno |
| Target | The Warden boss |
| Weapon needed | Corrupted Breacher (Olympia) or corrupted Nova Line (FAL) |
| Unlock condition for the wall buys | Three weapons Pack-a-Punched to level three |
| Corruption window | A rain round, when the two wall buys are highlighted |
| Kill condition | The corrupted weapon must land the killing blow |
The Olympia is the easier of the two to work with. It hits hard enough at close range to finish a weakened boss without needing much ammo management, which matters when you are juggling a weapon that is actively draining your health.

Tip: the grapple gun is the difference between making the Pack-a-Punch run comfortably and bleeding out halfway there. Route it in your head before you pick the weapon up.
Killing the Warden with the corrupted weapon
The corrupted gun does not need to carry the whole boss fight. Only the last hit counts, so treat the fight as two phases with different tools.

If it registered, the Dark Ops unlock notification fires on screen as the Warden goes down, and Doomstick shows as earned in the Dark Ops calling card list instead of staying hidden.
Why Doomstick does not unlock
There are only a few ways this attempt fails, and all of them are avoidable.
- The killing blow came from a different weapon. Anything other than the corrupted Olympia or FAL landing the last hit means no credit.
- Fewer than three weapons were Pack-a-Punched to level three, so the Breacher and Nova Line wall buys never highlighted.
- The purple fire was thrown outside a rain round, when the wall buys are not eligible for corruption.
- The corrupted weapon’s damage over time killed you before you reached Pack-a-Punch.
- You over-committed to the boss with the corrupted weapon and it went down to chip damage from something else.
Build the weapon well before the Warden fight rather than scrambling for it once the boss is already active. The corruption chain depends on a rain round arriving, and you cannot rush that timing — so bank the corrupted, Pack-a-Punched gun early and keep it slotted until the moment you need it.
