Your clan in Slayers 2 is more than a surname. Each one carries its own stat spread, active skills, and passives, and some reshape an entire build around a specific Breathing Style or Blood Demon Art. That means a Rare clan built for your kit can outperform a flashy Mythic that never matches how you fight.
Quick answer: Kamado, Rengoku, Uzui, Soyama, Shinazugawa, and Himejima are the six S-tier clans. They combine strong stats, useful skills, and passives that stay effective across most builds in both PvP and PvE.

Slayers 2 clan tier list (all 41 ranked)
| Tier | Clans |
|---|---|
| S | Kamado, Rengoku, Uzui, Soyama, Shinazugawa, Himejima |
| A | Agatsuma, Douma, Shabana, Tomioka, Urokodaki, Iguro, Tamayo, Kocho, Sabito |
| B | Ubuyashiki, Makomo, Yahaba, Susumaru, Kaneki, Yamagiri, Kurotsume, Aoshima, Aori |
| C | Yukimori, Kanzaki, Mori, Kurosaki, Hozumi, Aokawa, Saito, Tsukino, Ando, Suzuki, Kuroaki, Fujiwara, Sakurai, Hagiwara, Kazetani, Fukukoshi, Toka |
Placement here is based on combat value, versatility, passive strength, and how well a clan fits the strongest builds, not on rarity alone. A hard roll does not earn S tier by itself, and a specialist can rank high when its style is worth building around. This ranking reflects the September 2026 balance state.

Add to Google Preferences →S tier: the strongest overall clans
| Clan | Health | Stamina | Add. Damage Factor |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kamado | +175 | +130 | +23% |
| Rengoku | +185 | +125 | +26% |
| Uzui | +165 | +135 | +21% |
| Soyama | +170 | +128 | +22% |
| Shinazugawa | +135 | +90 | +18% |
| Himejima | +130 | +90 | +17% |
Kamado is the broadest pick in the game. Its stats, sustain, and guard-disrupting Headbutt work no matter your weapon, and Combat Intuition turns damage you take into extra offense to swing losing trades. For Demons it adds Sun Immunity and regeneration, so you free up a gear slot while keeping high overall damage and combo potential.

Rengoku carries the highest base damage factor and pairs it with burn damage on the first M1 of a string and burn-boosted Flame attacks. Heart Ablaze adds movement, stamina recovery, and retaliatory burn, while Flame resistance and Indomitable Will immunity give it real defensive coverage. It is the go-to for Flame Breathing and aggressive weapon pressure.
Uzui blends offense and defense for technical players. Enhanced Hearing marks a target for 25% increased damage from you, Musical Score records and negates a skill hit under pressure, and Vital Draw randomly grants healing, M1 evasion, or a large stamina refill. Poison Conversion and a deep stamina pool round out one of the best PvP kits.
Soyama rewards successful reads. Combat Intuition stores dealt damage while granting temporary defense, then converts that reserve into a Weapon, Breathing, or Demon Art bonus. Bell Splitter answers an incoming strike by stunning the attacker and reducing fist damage. Strong base stats also keep it effective without relying on counters.

Shinazugawa is a Wind specialist that still helps outside Wind. Windstorm Vigor supplies +20% Wind Damage, +10% Additional Damage, cheaper stamina costs, and extra movement, while Unyielding Spirit boosts defense and damage below 30% health. Weapon and quest EXP bonuses make it a strong progression clan for a bruiser build.
Himejima anchors tanky melee. Stone Skin adds damage reflection with Damage Reduction and regeneration, Repetitive Action converts skill damage into extra M1 damage, and its Block Regen and Block Points reward guard-heavy play. That mix makes it reliable for PvP, bosses, and close-range setups.
A tier: strong picks and style specialists
A-tier clans perform extremely well, either as flexible second choices or as specialists that shine with the right style. Keep one of these when it matches what you already play.
- Agatsuma — Built for Thunder Breathing, with a damage-amplification mark, a low-HP damage boost, and burn from Flaming Thunder God.
- Kocho — The top dedicated poison and Insect Breathing clan, with poison immunity, insect damage, and debuff-heavy skills.
- Iguro — Serpent and Poison focus with strong mobility and a boss-oriented percentage-damage snake ability.
- Douma — Defensive duelist with three auto-dodges per skill, a clone swap to escape combos, and Demon progression.
- Shabana — Team amplifier whose Blood Demon Zone buffs allies, with stacking Blood Poison for solo value.
- Tamayo — Support-oriented healing, cooldown resets, and debuffs that carry parties and boss fights.
- Tomioka — Water clan with random cooldown resets that suit longer, sustained fights.
- Urokodaki — A Rare clan that punches above its odds for Water builds thanks to a solid passive damage boost.
- Sabito — A Water-and-Katana option built to improve mobility, sword damage, and mastery.
Several of these lean on Water Breathing, which is currently one of the weaker styles. Tomioka, Urokodaki, and Sabito could rise if Water is buffed, so weigh them against the style you actually run.

B tier: niche tools and early Uncommons
B-tier clans are useful during progression or in specific setups, but they lack the raw stats or versatility of the higher bands. Ubuyashiki leans into off-meta utility, with a block-ignoring skill that helps in PvP and drop-luck and experience perks for farming, though it offers little direct damage. Yahaba earns its spot with a reliable combo extender that fits Arrow Evil Art and Demon builds, and Susumaru is a specialized Tamari clan that gains value when partied with a matching clan.

Makomo is a defensive Water and Katana clan with Block-related bonuses and dash tools, useful for a safer playstyle but outclassed by stronger rolls. The remaining Uncommons here, Kaneki, Yamagiri, Kurotsume, Aoshima, and Aori, are straightforward generalists that provide health, movement, and damage. They are solid while leveling but usually become spin fodder once you lock a Breathing Style or Demon Art.

C tier: Common starter clans
The Common band offers a single stat focus and no passives, which is fine for the opening hours but not worth keeping long. They split into a few clear groups by what they boost.
- Damage: Yukimori, Kanzaki, Aokawa, Saito.
- Defense and Block: Mori, Suzuki, Kurosaki, Hozumi.
- Health: Tsukino, Ando, Kuroaki, plus Hagiwara for regen.
- Stamina: Fujiwara, Sakurai, Kazetani.
- Movement: Fukukoshi, Toka.
Any of these can carry you through early fights, but their narrow, single-purpose effects mean you should reroll once a stronger clan is within reach.

Clan rarity odds
Rarity indicates how often something drops, not how powerful it is guaranteed to be, and each percentage covers an entire band rather than one named clan. Since that band is shared, any individual Supreme has odds below the stated 0.1%.
| Rarity | Odds | Example clans |
|---|---|---|
| Supreme | 0.1% | Kamado, Rengoku, Uzui, Soyama |
| Mythic | 0.9% | Himejima, Iguro, Shinazugawa, Agatsuma, Douma, Tamayo |
| Legendary | 4% | Shabana, Tomioka, Kocho, Ubuyashiki |
| Rare | 12% | Urokodaki, Sabito, Makomo, Yahaba, Susumaru |
| Uncommon | 23% | Kaneki, Yamagiri, Kurotsume, Aoshima, Aori |
| Common | 60% | Yukimori, Kanzaki, Mori, Kurosaki, Hozumi |
How to reroll your clan
Open Character Customization, then use Clan Spins to switch clans. VIP lets you save a rare clan before trying another reroll, so secure any keeper you already want before using more rolls. The change worked when the surname above your character and the clan panel both display the new bloodline.
A tier letter alone should not determine whether you reroll. A clan that seems unimpressive overall may fit your exact style perfectly, while an S-tier clan leaves half its kit unused if you never activate the effects it is designed around. Review the abilities you want first, then decide whether another spin is worthwhile.
