Slayers 2: How to Unlock and Master Temari (Blood Demon Art)

Reset your art, clear the core training, farm mastery to 60, and beat Sumari to get every Temari move.

Reset your art, clear the core training, farm mastery to 60, and beat Sumari to get every Temari move.

Temari (shown in-game as Tamari) is one of the Blood Demon Arts in Slayers 2, wielded by Susamaru. It sits low on most tier charts, but it kept most of its power through the recent balance pass that trimmed Blood Manipulation, Pyrokinesis, and Cryokinesis. Its ranged throws and airborne casting make it a strong pick for kiting bosses without taking a single hit.

Quick answer: Reset your current art with the ARTRESET code, hold the Temari Orb to start Tamari Core Training, finish all four tasks, then raise Temari mastery to 60 and defeat Sumari at Bamboo Grove to unlock Spiraling Shot.

Reset your current Blood Demon Art

To switch to Temari, you first need to clear whatever art your character currently has. The fastest way is a reset code, which hands over a “Reset Evil Art” item you can use right away.

Open the codes menu and enter ARTRESET. A confirmation box appears reading “This code hands over ‘Reset Evil Art’. Redeem it now?” Accept it to receive the reset item.

Use the Reset Evil Art item to clear your current art. This frees the slot so you can pick up Temari during the next questline.

Codes rotate in and out as the game patches. If ARTRESET no longer works, look for the current art or skill-tree reset code before starting.

Complete the Tamari Core Training quest

With your art slot open, the Temari Orb starts a short training questline. Finishing all four tasks unlocks the art itself and rewards Exp and Wen.

Hold the Temari Orb to receive the “Tamari Core Training 0/4” quest chain.

Work through the four tasks in any order.
  • Cup Training (0/1)
  • Push ups (0/1)
  • Boulder Split (0/1)
  • Defeat Mizunotos (0/5)
Completing the chain grants the Tamari Unlock along with Exp +900 and Wen +405. Temari is now active on your character.

Equip Combat fists for four arms

Temari borrows Susamaru’s signature look. Unequip your weapon (for example a Scythe) and equip the Combat fists. With Temari active, your character model sprouts two extra pairs of arms for four total, which drives the multi-ball throws.

Unlock Temari’s skill tree moves

Temari has four active moves. The first is available immediately, two open up as you spend skill points, and the last drops from a boss before you can slot it in the tree.

MoveWhat it does
Spinning ThrowTap hurls a Temari that slows on hit; hold fires six Temari then a final throw that ragdolls
Piercing KickLeap and kick, then press again to launch a Temari that bounces and detonates on bounce three.
MeteorSlam the Temari down, launch into the air, then plummet toward your cursor
Spiraling ShotSpin a Temari with all arms, kick it to home in, drill the target up, and detonate
Open the skill tree and unlock Spinning Throw first. You can test it on trainees before committing more points.

Farm Temari mastery to level 60

Higher moves need mastery. The quickest route is the Ouwigahara Dungeon, which pays out tower points you can trade for mastery in any weapon or power you own.

Run Ouwigahara Dungeon floors 35 and 36 to build up tower points.
Visit the Tower Crystal stall and exchange your points. Trading 69,000 tower points returns +50,600 Tamari Mastery, which pushes Temari to level 60.

Beat Sumari to get Spiraling Shot

Spiraling Shot is the ultimate move, and it does not come from the tree directly. It drops from Sumari, the Temari Demon, who spawns at Bamboo Grove with 3,000 HP.

Travel to Bamboo Grove and start the Sumari boss fight.
To improve the drop rate, activate a 4x Luck pass before you land the killing blow.
Defeat Sumari. When Spiraling Shot drops, the system message reads “[ ‘Spiraling Shot’ ] has been obtained, open your Skill Tree!” Spend your skill points to slot it and complete the kit.

Use Temari in the air to kite bosses

Temari’s standout trait is that its moves can be cast while airborne. That lets you stay off the ground and out of range while still throwing, which is what makes it so hard to hit during boss fights. Against Obari, the Serpent King (3,000 HP), you can chain Temari abilities mid-air and clear the fight with zero deaths.

You will know the full setup is working when all four moves sit unlocked in the skill tree, your character shows four arms with Combat fists equipped, and Temari abilities fire while you are jumping or falling rather than only from the ground.
