Slime RNG New Update: Slime Gun, Galaxy Rolls, and Five New Zones

The latest Slime RNG patch pushes the Roblox roller into ranged-combat territory for the first time. The headline addition is the Slime Gun, a player-controlled weapon that marks enemies for your equipped slimes to focus down. It arrives alongside five new zones, a new jackpot roll type called Galaxy Rolls, and reworked Power Fruits.

Quick answer: Open the Upgrades menu, go to the Player tab, and buy the Slime Gun upgrade. Then teleport through zones 29 to 33 to access the new Void crafting machine and the Honeycomb AFK area.

Five new zones added in the update

The teleporter list now extends to zone 33. Most of the new biomes are progression checkpoints, but two of them matter for endgame play: The Void holds a crafting machine, and Honeycomb is built around AFK farming with a dedicated XP machine.

Underworld29Progression zone, no new crafting recipes
Swamp30Progression zone
Mushroom Village31Progression zone

If you are pushing for efficient idle gains, Honeycomb is where you want your character parked once you can clear its enemies reliably. The built-in XP machine means equipped slimes keep leveling while you are away.

How the Slime Gun works

The Slime Gun lives in the Player section of the Upgrades menu. Its description is straightforward: shoot enemies and mark them so your slimes attack the marked targets. Clicking auto-locks the gun onto the nearest enemy within range, so you do not need precise aim.

Marked enemies take more damage from your slimes and drop more coins, which compounds with everything else you already have running. The gun pairs naturally with high-density spawn upgrades because every additional enemy on screen is a potential marked target.

Slime Gun upgrades worth maxing early:

UpgradeEffect
Rapid Fire IIncreases fire rate of the Slime Gun
Mark Blitz ISpeeds up marking application
Gun Range IExpands the auto-lock radius
Marked LootMarked enemies drop 5% more coins
Mark FuryMarked enemies take 10% more damage from slimes

AFK methods for the Slime Gun

The gun fires on click, which is not ideal for idle play. There are two workable ways to keep it firing without sitting at the keyboard.

Step 1: Use an external auto-clicker set to a steady interval. This is the simplest option and works regardless of whether the game window is focused.

Step 2: If you prefer not to install software, hold down left-click, press Escape to open the in-game menu, then release the mouse button while the menu is open. The game continues registering the click as held, so the gun keeps auto-firing on nearby enemies.

⚠️
The Escape-menu trick is a quirk of input handling and may stop working after a future patch. Auto-clickers are the more durable option.

Galaxy Rolls: The new jackpot system

Galaxy Rolls replace the previous jackpot ceiling with a new tier. Every 5,000th roll triggers a Galaxy Roll worth 1,666x luck, which is the highest single-roll multiplier currently in the game. The counter is separate from Golden and Diamond Rolls, so it accumulates in parallel.

Three upgrades govern this system:

  • Galaxy Rolls — unlocks the mechanic.
  • Extra Galaxy Rolls — increases how many Galaxy Rolls fire when the counter hits.
  • Luckier Galaxy Rolls — raises the luck multiplier applied during those rolls.

Because the trigger is fixed at every 5,000 rolls, roll speed upgrades feed directly into how often you see this jackpot. Stacking Galaxy Roll upgrades only pays off if you are also generating enough total rolls to hit the threshold regularly.

Goop and Luck upgrades to push next

Two Goop upgrades scaled up sharply with this patch. Goop Chance and 2x Goop Chance now sit at costs in the septillions, with one tier listed at 5 septillion. They remain the most reliable way to accelerate rebirth income, so they are worth prioritizing once your coin economy can absorb the price.

On the luck side, More Clovers VI increases how often clover rolls trigger, and Mega Luck I provides a flat luck boost that stacks with everything else. Both are useful before any extended rolling session.

If you are returning to the game cold, work through the new content in this order to avoid wasting coins on upgrades that scale poorly until later systems are unlocked.

Step 1: Buy the Slime Gun upgrade in the Player tab, then max Rapid Fire, Mark Blitz, and Gun Range. The gun is cheap to start and immediately raises your coin-per-minute rate.

Step 2: Push to zone 33 Honeycomb if your team can clear it. Park there for AFK sessions to take advantage of the XP machine.

Step 3: Unlock Galaxy Rolls and at least one tier each of Extra Galaxy Rolls and Luckier Galaxy Rolls. Keep roll speed upgrades current so the 5,000-roll counter actually ticks over.

Step 4: Save for Goop Chance and 2x Goop Chance. These are expensive but cut the time between rebirths significantly once active.

Step 5: Pick up More Clovers VI and Mega Luck I before any long active session. Stack them with luck items from your backpack.

Power Fruit changes

The Power Fruits in the Items tab of the Backpack received adjustments in this update, including changes to the Ice Fruit. Check each fruit's current description in your inventory before consuming, since stat values and durations have shifted from the previous version.

The combination of the Slime Gun, Galaxy Rolls, and the Honeycomb AFK zone reshapes the mid-to-late game loop. Active play now rewards you more than pure idle setups because the gun's marking effect compounds with every other damage and coin multiplier you have running. If you have been sitting on a stockpile of coins from a previous rebirth, the Player tree is the most productive place to spend them first.
