Slime RNG UFO Update: Event Rewards, Fruit Extractor, and New Zones

The UFO update brings a limited-time hourly event to Slime RNG, along with a free way to pull power fruits off your slimes, eight new slimes to collect, two new zones, and fresh tiers for Luck, Goop, and Walk Speed. The headline draw is the UFO itself, which spawns once an hour at a rotating spot on the map and rains down loot that can include jackpot spins worth 300 Robux.

🛸
Quick answer: Watch the timer in the top-right corner. The UFO spawns every hour at a rotating location marked with a rainbow outline. Teleport there, follow it as it moves, and collect the drops. Chasing a Golden UFO when one appears is worth dropping everything for.

How the UFO event works in Slime RNG

The UFO is the centerpiece of the update and runs as a limited-time event lasting seven days. A timer sits in the top-right corner of your screen and shows two things at once. It counts down to the next spawn and tells you where the UFO currently is.

About 20 minutes before a spawn, a proper countdown appears so you have time to get into position. The current location is marked with a rainbow outline on the map, which makes teleporting straight to it simple. Once the UFO is active, it does not sit still. It moves around and drops loot as it travels.

You can follow the UFO on foot to grab everything it drops. If you own the Auto Collect game pass, you can stay anywhere on the map and still pick up the drops without chasing the UFO at all.

There are two versions to watch for. The standard Green UFO is what spawns every hour. The Golden UFO has a much lower chance of appearing, but it drops noticeably better rewards. If you spot a Golden UFO, head for it immediately.

Drops are RNG-based, so results vary from one spawn to the next. Here is the full pool of what the UFO can drop.

Drop typeNotes
FoodStandard feeding items
Boost ItemsLuck Potions, Currency Potions, and similar
DiceUsed for rolling
Power FruitsIncludes the new Universe Fruit
Jackpot SpinsBest possible drop, worth 300 Robux in the shop

Because a single spawn can hand you a jackpot spin or a high-tier power fruit, the event is worth doing each hour it is live.

Fruit Extractor: Remove power fruits for free

The Fruit Extractor is the biggest change for free-to-play players. Before this update, the only way to take a power fruit off a slime was the Fruit Recovery item, which cost 40 Robux per use. The Extractor is a free machine that does the same job without spending anything.

The update log lists the new Fruit Extractor machines.

Extractor machines are scattered across the map, including in Zone 10 and the Redwood Forest (Zone 12). The trade-off is the return rate. The free Extractor gives back 50% of your fruit, while the 40 Robux Fruit Recovery item still returns the full 100%.

🍎
Note: If a fruit is valuable enough that losing half hurts, stick with the paid Fruit Recovery item. For getting rid of a fruit you do not want, the free Extractor does the job at no cost.

New slimes in the UFO update

Eight new slimes were added, and all of them are available to unlock right now.

New zones: Ancient Portal and Race Car Zone

Two new areas joined the map. They serve very different purposes.

The Ancient Portal has a distinct visual style and contains a Crafting Machine inside. There are no new craftable recipes available there yet, and those are expected in a later update. For now it is mostly worth a look for the scenery.

The Race Car Zone is where you will want to spend your time. It is currently the best zone in the game for farming both coins and goop. If you are grinding for resources, this is the spot to settle into.

New upgrades: Luck, Goop, and Walk Speed tiers

Three upgrade categories gained new tiers. None of them are cheap, but each is worth saving toward depending on where you are in your progression.

UpgradeNew tiers / effect
LuckGalactic Luck and Universal Luck, raising the luck cap from 1,150 to 1,300
Goop7.5% chance for enemies to drop double goop on death
Walk SpeedNew speed tiers for faster map travel

The goop upgrade carries a high price tag, but the double-drop chance pays off over long farming sessions. Walk Speed is easy to overlook, yet the extra movement helps you keep pace with the UFO as it roams during the event.

While the UFO event is live, the hourly cycle is the most efficient use of your time, since a single lucky drop can outweigh hours of grinding. Pair that with regular trips to the Race Car Zone for coins and goop, and use the free Fruit Extractor whenever you want to clear an unwanted fruit without spending Robux.
