Slop Tower Defense Space Event: Schedule, Start Times & Next Countdown

Space Event is a recurring, space-themed mode in Slop Tower Defense, the Roblox tower-defense game that has pulled in over 31 million visits and keeps thousands of players in its servers at once. Rather than a one-off celebration, it comes back on a steady weekly rhythm, giving regulars a reliable reason to log in and newcomers a fixed point to plan around.

The event has run 2 times so far and settles into the same weekly slot each cycle. What follows is when it opens, that window mapped across the major world time zones, and what the mode offers once it goes live.

How often Space Event runs

Space Event follows a weekly cadence — it returns every Friday, with the mode opening at 1:00 PM ET. Because Slop Tower Defense draws players from all over the world, that single afternoon slot lands at very different local times, so the table below maps the Friday 1:00 PM ET opening across the major regions.

The next Friday opening is expected on Friday, October 23 at 1 PM ET. That date is our best estimate based on the event’s established weekly rhythm; we confirm it once the developer posts the next run.

What happens in Space Event

Space Event is built around an endless-style challenge rather than a fixed set of waves, so the pressure keeps ramping for as long as you can hold your defenses together. Alongside that core mode, the event brings a few space-themed extras:

• Space Chest — a themed reward chest tied to the event.
• AFK area — a dedicated space where you can idle and still make progress.
• AFK crate — passive loot earned while parked in the AFK area.

Because the mode leans on endless play and idle rewards, it suits both active players chasing a high clear and those who would rather leave the game running and collect over the window.

Tips for catching Space Event

• The Friday 1:00 PM ET slot is mid-afternoon across the Americas and evening in Europe. If it falls during work or school in your region, the AFK area means you can still bank crate rewards without actively playing.
• Pick the row in the table above that matches your region and set a reminder for it — the event runs on the day, not around the clock.
• Miss it entirely? There’s no rush. Space Event returns the following Friday, so the next cycle is only a week out.

How Space Event fits Slop Tower Defense

Space Event is one of several rotating features keeping Slop Tower Defense busy. The game’s Halloween event is live right now, with Halloween Part 2 and Part 3 already lined up to follow, and larger updates such as Achievements and a Quest Rework on the way. Space Event sits in that mix as the dependable weekly anchor — while the seasonal Halloween content comes and goes, the Friday space slot stays on the schedule week after week.
