Salmonid Relics are hidden treasures scattered across the Spirhalite Islands in Splatoon Raiders. Finding one reveals a strange power that plugs into your build, so a Relic can hand you a movement trick like a double jump or a passive combat edge that makes tough dens and boss fights easier to clear.
Quick answer: Relics drop as collectible rewards for finishing the challenges spread across the islands, mostly buried ruins and stage objectives. Pick them up during solo raids and you keep them no matter what happens, then fuse duplicates at the Hideout Ship to make stronger versions.
What Salmonid Relics do
Relics sit alongside your other equipment rather than acting like an active Gadget. Once revealed, a Relic grants a passive or movement-based effect that stays with your loadout, so you can lean on it while exploring or fighting Salmonids. Some are pure combat boosts, while others change how you move around a stage.
Every Relic carries a star rating and a value. Higher-star Relics are the rarer, more impactful finds, and the value reflects how prized the piece is. You will know a Relic is yours once it appears in your Relic collection at the Hideout Ship and its power becomes selectable in your build.

Relics are earned as collectible rewards for clearing the challenges scattered across the Spirhalite Islands. As you push deeper into the islands and finish these activities, you naturally unlock more of them, so exploration is the fastest path to a full set.
You can confirm a Relic is registered by checking your Relic collection back at the Hideout Ship. Once it shows up there, its power is available to slot into your loadout.
Fusing Relics into stronger versions
Collecting duplicates is worthwhile because certain Relics can be combined to create stronger versions with enhanced effects. That makes it worth revisiting different islands and gathering as many Relics as you can, since the fused results give you a bigger edge during the tougher challenges later on.
Because higher-star Relics carry the largest values and the most useful powers, aim to build toward those top-tier pieces. Keep raiding new stages, hold onto everything you pull from buried ruins, and fuse where you can to steadily upgrade the powers backing your build.
