In Spuddy’s (Anomaly), the class you buy decides how long you last during a shift. You work the family diner, serve customers, dodge anomalies, and spend Gems on classes that hand you passive energy, movement speed, or a bat to swing. Some of those perks carry a full run. Others barely register. Here is where each class lands right now, and why.
Quick answer: Buy Skater (2,500 Gems) for the strongest all-round class. If you want anomaly control, grab Senior Employee for a free-to-play option or Elite Batter (159 Robux) if you play in a squad. Assistant Manager is the safest pick for steady energy.
Spuddy’s class tier list (July 2026)
The full ranking below reflects the current class shop. Rankings weigh how each class performs in both solo and party runs, how reliably it keeps your energy topped up, and how much it costs to unlock.
| Tier | Classes |
|---|---|
| S | Skater |
| A | Elite Batter, Senior Employee, Assistant Manager |
| B | Cashier, Waiter |
| C | Sleepy, Employee |
How this was ranked: each class is judged on solo and party value, how well it solves the energy problem that ends most runs, and its Gem or Robux cost. This reflects the class lineup as of July 2026 and will change if the developers add or rework classes.

Add to Google Preferences →S tier: the one class worth rushing
Skater sits alone at the top. It costs 2,500 Gems and fixes two problems at once. The +15% Walkspeed and the speed boost after giving food let you cover the diner fast, and giving food also feeds you energy, so you rarely run dry. By Level 3 you also start with +15 energy and hold the speed boost longer.
| Level | Perks |
|---|---|
| 1 | +15% Walkspeed, speed boost after giving food, gain energy from giving food |
| 2 | Adds +15 Starting Energy |
| 3 | Longer speed boost after giving food, +15 Starting Energy retained |
Skater works in both solo and party runs. If you can keep a bat handy for anomalies, the speed edge makes it the best solo pick in the game.
A tier: strong, situational picks
These three are excellent, but they shine most in specific roles or team setups. Assistant Manager is the pure energy engine, while Elite Batter and Senior Employee turn you into the anomaly hunter your squad needs.
| Class | Cost | Why it ranks here |
|---|---|---|
| Elite Batter | 159 Robux | Starts with the Elite Bat (30 uses) and gains energy on every anomaly hit. Best anomaly control in the game, ideal in party runs, but weaker solo since serving pays more than swinging. No free-to-play route. |
| Senior Employee | 500 Gems | The free-to-play take on Elite Batter. Spawns with a strong bat (3 to 5 uses) and earns energy from hitting anomalies, so you handle early-shift threats well. Better in a squad than alone. |
| Assistant Manager | 1,250 Gems | Gains energy from every task you complete, plus +10 Starting Energy and +2 Capacity at Level 3. The safest fix if you struggle to keep energy up. Pair it with a bought bat and it becomes overpowered. |
B tier: single-role specialists
Cashier and Waiter both do one thing. That makes them fine for beginners or for a defined role in a party, but their one-track perks hold them back overall.
| Class | Cost | Role |
|---|---|---|
| Cashier | 50 Gems | Gains energy from seating customers. A solid starter that becomes decent solo once you hit Level 3 and stick to checking guests in. |
| Waiter | 150 Gems | Gains energy from giving food and adds carry capacity. Best if you commit to feeding customers. Keep a bat or avoid anomalies to get the most from it. |
C tier: skip these
Sleepy and Employee are the weakest options right now. Employee is your default class, and Sleepy is a gamble that can end a run early.
| Class | Cost | Why it’s low |
|---|---|---|
| Sleepy | 350 Gems | Doubles both energy gain and loss, with a small chance to triple gains. It leans hard on RNG, and a run of energy losses can end a shift even without mistakes. Save the Gems for Senior Employee. |
| Employee | Starter (free) | Unlocked by default. Only gives small Starting Energy and Capacity bumps, and even at Level 3 the perks stay minor. |
How to unlock and pay for classes
Almost every class is bought with Gems earned during runs. You collect Gems by serving normal customers, finishing shifts, and steering clear of anyone carrying an anomaly. The one exception is Elite Batter, which is a premium class sold for 159 Robux with no Gem path.
A practical spending order is Skater first for all-round value, then Assistant Manager or Senior Employee depending on whether you want energy security or anomaly control. Cashier and Waiter are cheap stepping stones while you save up.
Expect this order to shift as the developers add new classes or rebalance the existing ones. Check the class shop after any major update to keep your picks aligned with the current meta.
