Steal An Egg’s fourth big content drop is live. Roblox lists it as Light vs Darkness, but most players are calling it by its in-game framing: Angels vs Demons. It adds eight new light and darkness animals to the map, a secret shrine, a fresh biome tacked onto the end of the track, and a limited-time Luminous Egg sitting in the Shop.

Quick answer: Run the full track past Prehistoric and through the portal to reach the new end-game biome, then open the Shop to buy the limited-time Luminous Egg, which starts at 80 Robux for a single egg.

Everything added in the Angels vs Demons update

The update touches the map, the Shop, and your base at the same time. Here is the full set of additions.

How to reach the new biome at the end of the track

The new area is not hidden behind a menu or a quest. It is simply further down the same track you already run, so the only real gate is Speed. Work through the existing zones in order and keep pushing forward past the last one.

Start a run from your base and head down the track through the early zones. Red arrows on the floor point the way forward, and the Slow Mode toggle on screen is useful if your Speed is high enough that you are overshooting eggs.

Keep going through Lake, Desert, Jungle, Snow, and Volcano. These are unchanged, but the eight new light and darkness animals spawn across the map, so you may see unfamiliar guardians sitting on eggs in zones you already know well.
Push through Abyss Ocean and then Prehistoric. This is where most players stall, because the guardians here catch you easily if your Speed is not high enough to clear the run.

Take the portal at the end of the Prehistoric stretch. That drops you into the new biome, which is now the deepest point on the map. The secret shrine is also out here on the route, so scan the sides of the track rather than sprinting straight through.

Note: if your Speed is short, liking the experience, favoriting it, and joining the community group still hands you 10,000 free Speed. It is a small boost at the top end, but newer accounts should not leave it on the table. You can grab both from the Steal An Egg game page.

Luminous Egg price and how long it stays in the Shop

The Luminous Egg is the update’s headline Shop item and it is Robux-only. Open the Shop from the left side of the screen and it appears near the top with its own countdown, which ran to just under 14 days at launch. Once that timer expires, the egg leaves the Shop.

A Luminous Re-roll option sits alongside the egg in the same Shop panel. The Shop also carries the new treadmills and trails from this update, so it is worth checking the full list before spending, since a trail upgrade converts directly into the Speed you need for the new biome.

Abyss Overlord boss arena and its 7,000 HP bar

The Abyss Overlord fight is still running in this update. Entering the arena puts a boss health bar across the top of the screen showing progress against a 7,000 HP pool, shared by everyone in the server. Servers cap at seven players, so damage output is limited and the fight is a group effort rather than something you finish alone.

Base upgrade adds an extra pet slot

Bigger bases are part of this update, and the practical effect is one more pet slot. That matters more than it sounds, because pet income is what funds treadmill and trail upgrades. If your pen is full of low earners, sell or fuse them before you start hatching anything from the new biome, or you will have nowhere to put the good pulls.

Egg behaviour has not changed. Eggs still reset across the map every five minutes, with a short night phase during which all eggs grow up to 30 times faster. High-rarity spawns are still announced server-wide with their name and location.

When the Light vs Darkness update went live

Steal An Egg follows a weekly Saturday cadence. An Admin Abuse window runs first, lasting 30 to 60 minutes with boosted egg spawns, Speed multipliers, and free items handed out by the developers, and the update goes live immediately afterwards. The most recent Admin Abuse ran on Saturday, September 12, starting at 8:00AM PT / 11:00AM ET / 3:00PM UK, with Light vs Darkness following straight on.

The Roblox event listing for Light vs Darkness runs from 3:00PM on Saturday, September 12 through 3:00PM on Sunday, September 13. No official date has been confirmed yet for the next update after this one.

You will know the update has loaded properly when the Luminous Egg appears in the Shop with its countdown attached and the new treadmill and trail entries show up in the same menu. If the Shop still looks the same, rejoin the experience — Steal An Egg pushes server updates gradually, and an older server can keep running the previous version until it cycles.
