Steal Fish Eggs is built around one loop: raise your swim speed, push into a new zone, steal eggs while dodging the boss, and carry them back to your base. There are nine zones right now, and each later area asks for a higher swim speed before you can safely try to grab its eggs.
Quick answer: The nine zones run from Coral Reef (no requirement) up to Heavenly Sea (2 billion swim speed). The full list and each speed benchmark are in the table below.

All nine zones and swim speed requirements
The zones are laid out in a fixed order, moving farther from your base as the numbers climb. The recommended swim speed shown for each area is the speed you should reach before attempting to steal eggs there.
| Zone | Recommended swim speed |
|---|---|
| Coral Reef | No requirement |
| Deep Ocean | 1K |
| Pearl Lagoon | 20K |
| Snowy Sea | 150K |
| Volcanic Sea | 2 million |
| Jelly Ocean | 15 million |
| Sunken Ruins | 90 million |
| Atlantis | 600 million |
| Heavenly Sea | 2 billion |
Coral Reef is the starting zone and has no speed requirement, so it is where you learn the core loop. From Deep Ocean onward, your swim speed decides whether you can enter and escape. Rarer fish and tougher bosses appear as you move deeper, which is why speed becomes the most important stat to grow.

Meeting a zone’s recommended swim speed lets you venture in, but it does not promise a clean getaway. Each area has a boss protecting the eggs, and if your speed is too low, the boss will eventually catch up to you.
Getting caught ragdolls your character. If you are holding an egg at that moment, you lose it and the progress on that run. Because of this, it is safer to sit a little above a zone’s benchmark before you commit to stealing, rather than entering at the bare minimum.
Treat each new zone’s number as an entry ticket. Test your escape before you rely on carrying eggs out of it regularly.

How to increase swim speed
There are two ways to build swim speed, and using both together is how you keep pace with the higher zones.
- Train and upgrade the swimming pool near your base to raise your base swim speed over time.
- Buy Trails for extra speed boosts that help you move through the water and outrun bosses.
The swimming pool sits close to your base and is where you train speed directly. Upgrading that setup regularly is the main way to unlock later zones. Trails stack on top of your trained speed, which matters most when you are escaping a boss with an egg in hand.
Higher swim speed pays off twice: it opens deeper zones, and those zones hold rarer fish eggs that earn more money once returned to base. You can jump into the game and start training on the official Steal Fish Eggs page.

How to know you are ready for a zone
You are ready to farm a zone when your swim speed clears its recommended number and you can still swim an egg back to base without the boss reaching you. If you keep getting ragdolled on the way out, your speed is too close to the floor for that area, and more pool upgrades or a stronger Trail will fix it. The reward is simple to confirm: an egg carried safely to your base becomes yours to keep and turn into income.
