Stillwell arrived with the 1.0 release of Fields of Mistria as one of two new Saturday Market vendors, and he brings a whole gameplay system with him. He’s the group’s dramatic fortune-teller, a self-styled seer who claims to watch the past, present, and future all at once. If you’re trying to figure out where he stands, whether you can date him, and what to put in his hands, here’s the short version first.

Who Stillwell is
Stillwell presents himself as a genuine seer, and his opening line sets the mood right away.
Me? The name’s Stillwell. I can see the past, present, and future all at once. It’s a lot.
He talks about magic pouring out of the gate between worlds, which keeps spawning monsters on the ground, and he insists these alternate timelines have to be stopped. The delivery is theatrical, a little self-aware, and dry. He’s also honest about money, admitting that saving the world doesn’t cover rent, which is why he sells fortunes at his booth on the side.
Where to find Stillwell
Stillwell only shows up at the Saturday Market. He sets up in the newly expanded plaza section, tucked into a more secluded spot next to Zorel. You won’t run into him wandering town on any other day of the week, so Saturday is your only window to talk to him or hand over gifts.
He isn’t available from the start. Stillwell unlocks after you complete the story quest that expands the Saturday Market, which is the same quest that brings in Zorel. Until that quest is done, neither vendor will appear in the plaza.
The Mission Board and how it works
The Mission Board is the real reason Stillwell exists, and it’s the main system tied to him. Once he’s unlocked, a Mission Board opens up right next to his stall. The tasks it hands out are combat-focused, sending you back into the mines to defeat specific monsters for a reward.
The first mission asks you to defeat 20 Green Saplings, and turning it in rewards a Sapling Bean Bag Chair. Once you hand it in, Stillwell remarks that he foresaw the saplings multiplying and eventually spilling into Mistria’s sewer system if you hadn’t dealt with them.

Can you romance Stillwell?
No. Stillwell is not romanceable, so he can’t be part of any of your romance storylines. Because dating him isn’t possible, you also can’t have children with him, which matters now that having kids is a new option in Fields of Mistria. Plenty of players hoped he’d be an eligible partner, but that path simply isn’t in the game.
