Vehicles decide how much of an auction win you can actually keep in Storage Hunters: Open World. Once you outbid the NPCs for a locker, you still have to load the contents, drive back to your shop, and sell them. A vehicle with too little weight capacity forces extra trips or leaves valuable items behind. Every vehicle can be bought from the Vehicle Dealership and tuned further at the Car Garage using performance parts.
Quick answer: The Train carries the most at 3,250 kg, followed by the Dumpster Truck at 2,750 kg. For raw speed, the E-Truck leads at 95, with the Phantom close behind at 93.
The three vehicle categories
Vehicles fall into three groups based on how you get them. Two of these categories have a time limit, so knowing which is which prevents you from missing a purchase window.

Default vehicles and their stats
These stay in the Vehicle Dealership permanently, so you can buy them whenever you have the cash or Robux. Prices climb steeply, and higher tiers trade speed for far larger weight capacity. Each vehicle can be bought with in-game money or Robux.

Note: The Zippy is one of the few vehicles that carries less than the starter Rusty Truck, at 95 kg. It’s built for speed and handling, not hauling, so it isn’t an upgrade for moving heavy loot.
Featured vehicles (weekly rotation)
Featured vehicles appear in the dealership’s weekly rotation and disappear when the stock refreshes. If you want one, buy it before the rotation changes. Previously offered vehicles can return in a later rotation, so missing one is not permanent.

The E-Truck stands out with the highest speed (95) and acceleration (2.0) of any vehicle. The Train is the top hauler in the entire game and the single most expensive purchase at $4,500,000 or 4,249 Robux.
Event vehicles
Event vehicles are tied to limited-time events and cannot be bought with money or Robux. Once the event that offers one ends, it can no longer be obtained.

What each stat controls
Every vehicle uses the same four core stats. Reading them together tells you whether a vehicle suits fast sell runs, heavy hauls, or a balance of both.

| Weight Capacity | The maximum item weight it can carry. Larger vehicles are usually slower but move far more loot per trip. |
How vehicle weight and trailers work
Every item you collect during an auction adds to your vehicle’s load. The game tracks this as Vehicle Weight, so you can watch how close you are to the ceiling before you run out of room. Once you hit the cap, you either leave items behind or make a return trip.
Some vehicles carry more than their base number suggests. The Tractor and the Train come with permanently attached trailers that raise their carrying capacity. You can also attach a separate configurable trailer from the Trailer Shop to add even more storage on top of a vehicle’s built-in limit.
Car parts at the Car Garage
Car parts mostly turn up inside auction lockers, and you install them at the Car Garage. Each part rolls a random bonus, so two of the same part can improve different stats.

Choosing the right vehicle
Pick based on what your runs actually need. If constant return trips are slowing you down, prioritize weight capacity. If the map crossings feel long, prioritize speed and acceleration instead.
- For the heaviest hauls, the Train (3,250 kg) and Dumpster Truck (2,750 kg) clear the most loot per trip.
- For the fastest sell runs, the E-Truck (95 speed, 2.0 acceleration) and Phantom (93 speed) cover ground quickest.
- For a mid-game balance, the Vanguard and Stallion pair 550 kg capacity with solid speed and handling at a lower price.
All of these are bought from the Vehicle Dealership, and any of them can be pushed further with parts at the Car Garage. Keep an eye on the weekly Featured rotation if the E-Truck, Monster Truck, Limo, or Train is on your list, since those slots change on a schedule.
