Tap Simulator Reborn: All 15 Shiny Star Locations by Island

Three stars sit in the spawn lobby and two on each of the six later islands, and the full set gives a permanent shiny hatch buff.

Three stars sit in the spawn lobby and two on each of the six later islands, and the full set gives a permanent shiny hatch buff.

Tap Simulator Reborn hides 15 shiny stars at fixed landmarks across its seven areas. You can collect them in any order. Each star disappears or goes faint for you once you grab it, and it never respawns. Collecting all 15 gives a permanent boost to your shiny hatch odds.

Quick answer: Grab three stars in the spawn lobby, then two each on Sky, Autumn, Mushroom, Desert, Crystal Cave, and Shadow Realm. Most sit behind eggs, machines, rocks, or trees.

Shiny star count per island

The stars follow the order you unlock the islands. That makes the simplest route a straight run through the portals, starting at spawn.

AreaStarsStar numbers
Spawn lobby31–3
Sky Island24–5
Autumn Island26–7
Mushroom Island28–9
Desert210–11
Crystal Cave212–13
Shadow Realm214–15

Stars on an island remain inaccessible until you unlock that island. You can do so by paying the portal fee or using extra jumps to reach it. Opening the Sky Island portal costs roughly 7 to 10 million Coins; the Shadow Realm portal is reported to cost 19 quadrillion Coins.

Spawn lobby shiny stars (1–3)

These three need no unlocks, no currency, and no special jumps. They are a good first test of where the game likes to tuck its stars, which is usually against walls and behind props.

  • Star 1: Behind the fountain and its rocks, near the leaderboard and gold machine. Turn away from the fountain toward the ocean, walk to the coast, and look right for a grey stone along the perimeter wall.
  • Star 2: Cross the bridge to the Spiked Egg stand in front of the Sky Island Portal. The star sits against the back of the egg’s casing.
  • Star 3: Use the steel blue ladders behind the island portals to climb the rocket-pad tower. Near the secret leaderboards, the star rests on the right support column.

Island shiny stars (4–15)

Every island after the lobby holds exactly two stars. Extra jumps make the cliff and side-island spots much easier, especially on Mushroom Island.

Sky Island

  • Star 4: Turn left as soon as you come through the portal. The star is against the rocky border wall.
  • Star 5: Behind the egg stands, on the outer cliff edge to the right.

You can also reach Sky Island without the portal by double-jumping up from the starter island.

Autumn Island

  • Star 6: Walk straight from the portal to the Gem Upgrade building. The star is on the grass to its left, by the windmill where the Invisible Toilet stands.
  • Star 7: On the Giant Pumpkin sub-island, find it tucked behind a tree in the space separating the shrine path from the gem upgrades.

Mushroom Island

  • Star 8: Walk from the portal to the Mushroom & Mycelium Egg. Look back to the right for the small island with the Pet Index, then jump over. The star is behind the tree next to the index.
  • Star 9: From the eggs, look left for a side island with red and purple mushrooms. The star is behind the treasure chest and foliage.

Desert

  • Star 10: Behind the Gold Machine in the gold crafting area, to the right of the pyramid.
  • Star 11: Look at the pyramid’s back-right stone corner, where it touches the boundary rocks.

Crystal Cave

  • Star 12: The star is on the rocky ledge to the eggs’ right. Find it behind the rocks beside the glowing purple tree.
  • Star 13: Behind the rock clusters at the back of the Diamond machine.

Shadow Realm

  • Star 14: On the left side of the Enchanting machine, the star rests against the dark crystal behind it.
  • Star 15: Look behind the lone crystal in the space separating the Rainbow machine and the Enchanting machine. You may have to climb the crystal to touch the star.

Shiny star reward and how to confirm the full set

When you pick up the fifteenth star, a message tells you that you have found all 15 shiny stars. That message is your confirmation, and your boosted shiny mutation chance shows up in your profile stats.

Collecting the complete set grants a permanent 4% shiny mutation buff on hatches. Some players also associate the set with improved odds of hatching Rainbow Pets. After the confirmation message appears, check your profile to see the exact reward your account received. Stars collected individually don’t seem to provide a partial buff; the boost begins only after you have all 15.

The bonus survives rebirths. Rebirthing spends only the Coins you are holding, and it keeps your collected shiny stars along with your pets, unlocked islands, and gem upgrades. You only ever have to do this hunt once.
