In Aniimo, the Argent Strait occupies the lower-left of the Breezy Plains continent. This coastal area combines silver beaches, cliffs, and little islands, with 13 catchable Aniimo spread throughout it. Designed for early-game players at levels 28-32, the region contains the complete Chirpi family. Most encounters occur beside the coast or near the inland ruins, while some require particular weather, solving a shell puzzle, or charging a Bloom.
Quick answer: Sweep the coastline and the ruins to collect most of the 13 Aniimo, then trigger the four conditional spawns — Cornet (open all shells), Tromber (rainy or thunderstorm weather), Alpha Tubster (guaranteed island boss), and Cornet’s Prismana Form (Prismana Flow via the Bloom).

Once you catch any species, open its Aniilog entry and select Habitats. Yellow squares drop onto the map showing that creature’s exact spawn zones, which makes farming duplicates far easier.

Cornet: open every shell on the eastern island
Cornet becomes available after all five pink seashells on the region’s small far-eastern island have been opened; the island lies just east of the Alpha Tubster. Chirpi also gather around those shells, so you will not be alone while opening them. Opening the final shell triggers a message saying that a powerful Aniimo has arrived, after which Cornet descends at -1002, 0486.
Tromber: rainy or thunderstorm weather
Look for Tromber only when the weather is rainy or thunderstorm weather. It occupies a small beach rock west of the Alpha Tubster, with Chirpi around it. The Argent Strait gains weather changes through zone progress, meaning rain requires substantial progress in the region. The map menu’s Tromber entry shows the weather schedule currently used by your server.

Alpha Tubster: guaranteed island boss
Tubster’s guaranteed Alpha encounter is on the island at -1150, 0584, southeast of the fast-travel point in Argent Strait. These forms are stronger than normal spawns, and capturing one requires a boss-like battle first, so take a strong Twined companion. Defeating Alpha Tubster also fulfills one of the requirements for the region’s second zone badge.

Cornet (Prismana Form): charge the Bloom
Cornet’s Prismana Form is an uncommon variant connected to the Bloom system. Use the Nurture Bloom, then catch Aniimo during its active period to build up the Prismatic Energy meter. Once the meter fills, a notification confirms the Prismana Cornet’s arrival and the game automatically adds a map marker; in some cases, it appears even before the meter reaches full.

Burrowers and infrequent spawns
Hummin hides underground and disguises itself as a plant, so you must walk right up to it to force it above ground before it becomes catchable. Budclaw also burrows and needs to be startled out of hiding first. Celestis spawns infrequently near the large trees between Freshprout Hill and Brightbough Plateau; if it does not appear, fast travel elsewhere and return to reset the zone.
Collection rewards for finishing the region
Progress toward catching all 13 is tracked as Aniimo Collection Progress, with rewards unlocking at 40%, 70%, and 100%. Hitting each threshold confirms your progress and hands over the items below.
| Progress | Rewards |
|---|---|
| 40% | Safaris ×500, Vein Essence ×1 |
| 70% | Safaris ×500, Irisalis Petal ×1 |
| 100% | Mark of the Strong: Breezy Plains ×1, Sparkling Crystal ×100 |
The zone badge, Where Gulls Sing, ties into these milestones. Reaching 40% collection unlocks Tier 1, which raises catch chance in the area by 10% and enables Nurture. Tier 2 requires 70% collection and defeating Alpha Tubster, and it is what allows weather changes here, so it doubles as the gate for hunting Tromber. Tier 3 unlocks at 100% collection alongside gathering 5 Lumin Amber in the region. Clearing all 13 is the surest sign you have completed the Argent Strait roster.
