The Hollow Roblox Halloween Event (2026): Every Confirmed Game

The Hollow starts October 22, 2026, with nine horror-leaning experiences and quest-based rewards still to be revealed.

The Hollow starts October 22, 2026, with nine horror-leaning experiences and quest-based rewards still to be revealed.

Roblox’s platform-wide Halloween event for 2026, The Hollow, begins Thursday, October 22. Its lineup is already set, unlike that of most Roblox events: Roblox has announced nine participating experiences, most of them horror games. The rewards, launch time, and closing date have yet to be announced.

Quick answer: The Hollow begins October 22, 2026, with nine official games. The list starts with DOORS, Piggy, and 99 Nights in the Forest. No rewards, codes, or end date are confirmed yet.

The Hollow start date, time, and end date

Only one date is official. The October 22 date appears directly in Roblox’s teaser as “10.22.26”. Everything else about the schedule comes from reports, and those reports disagree with each other.

Different outlets list November 5, November 8, and November 9 as the end date. That works out to a run of about two to three weeks. Two participating games give some support to the later dates. DOORS’ Candy Vault update and Piggy’s Frightful Forest map both close on November 8. It is also unclear whether Roblox Plus subscribers will get early access, as they did for earlier events like The Hunt.

The timing has a theme. October 22 falls nine nights before Halloween, and Roblox has framed the event around “nine names, nine nights.” That points to a pace of one game per night, with a new experience in focus each day leading up to October 31. Roblox has not explained how the unlocks will actually work.

All 9 games in The Hollow

Roblox revealed the lineup on October 17 through a series of game-by-game posts on Instagram and TikTok. Several of these experiences already run Halloween content of their own. Those in-game events are separate from The Hollow, even when the dates overlap.

Before the official reveal, many players expected +1 Speed Keyboard Escape to take part. Leak accounts named it, and fans linked it to silhouettes in the teaser. It is not on the final list. Earlier guesses such as Dress to Impress, Adopt Me!, Keys, and Flee the Facility did not make the cut either.

Nine games is a deliberate cut. The 2025 Halloween Spotlight spread across more than 30 experiences. The Hollow concentrates on a small set of horror and horror-adjacent titles, which suggests longer quests in each game rather than quick badge grabs. Day-one servers in DOORS and 99 Nights in the Forest, which already draw very large audiences, are likely to be crowded.

The Hollow free items and rewards

Roblox has not listed a single reward. The likely format comes from Roblox’s recent platform events, which The Hollow is expected to follow. Players move between participating experiences and finish a quest in each one. Those quests earn an event currency, which is then traded for free UGC avatar items. During The Hunt, that meant one free item per game, plus secret quests at the end for players who finished everything.

The event will be live once the participating games open their Hollow quests and the event currency starts appearing in-game. Until that happens, any “full reward list” circulating online is a guess.

There are no codes for The Hollow; players earn rewards by playing. Any site offering codes, shortcuts, or early access to Hollow items is a scam. The unrelated Roblox title HOLLOW, inspired by Bleach, offers codes of its own, but they are not connected to this event.

How Roblox teased The Hollow

Roblox spent almost a month building up to the reveal, and the hints started before most players were looking for them.

  • September 27: The winners’ area at The Hunt finale gained a decal called Riddling Skull.
  • October 8: Roblox shared three cryptic messages on this date, spacing them three hours and one minute apart.
  • October 10: In a 29-second teaser posted on X, Roblox disclosed the event’s name and its October 22 date.
  • October 14: A post reading “nine names, nine nights” verified the number of games while concealing their titles.
  • October 17: Roblox named all nine games.

The teaser shows shadowy figures against a red background, including branching antlers, claws, a bat, a rounded character, and a glimpse of Piggy. It ends on The Hollow logo and the date. Its caption points to returning characters in new Halloween forms.

“You’ve met them before. But not like this.”

Leaked Halloween items and the Headless Horseman return

A few hidden uploads have surfaced alongside the event. None of them is officially tied to The Hollow, and any of them could turn out to be a paid item rather than an event reward.

  • A flaming jack-o’-lantern character with a dark cloak and glowing eyes. One version is reportedly a headless dynamic head named the Squash Buckler.
  • A pumpkin item appears in the Gear category, which seldom receives new additions. Its function remains unknown.
  • A dark red-and-black Halloween theme for the Roblox website.

One Halloween item is confirmed: the Headless Horseman bundle is back in the Roblox Marketplace. It costs 31,000 Robux, or 24,800 Robux with the Roblox Plus discount. It is a seasonal paid bundle, not part of The Hollow’s free rewards.

The Hollow vs. The Haunt and Halloween Spotlight

The Hollow is a new event, not a sequel. It shares the Halloween season with Roblox’s two previous Halloween events, but it uses different games, a different setting, and different prizes. Rewards for The Haunt or Halloween Spotlight do not carry over.

The Haunt ran from October 24 to November 1, 2024, with the Headless Horseman as its villain. Its hub was a haunted mansion, where players could inspect pedestals showing community-made prizes. Costume contests in categories such as Best Costume, Scary, Creatures, and Cute awarded UGC items like the Cruel Duality Mask, Skeleton Spiders Pals, and a Layered Halloween Necklace.

Halloween Spotlight ran between October 23 and November 3, 2025. Players completed quests to earn runes and keys, then used them to open paths; tougher Elite Paths offered rarer avatar items, and a Final Curse awaited them afterward. The Hollow retains the October-to-November schedule but has only nine games. So far, Roblox has confirmed just the nine-game list and the October 22 date. The quests, currency, and prizes are due to be revealed when the event opens.
