You have until September 28, 2026, when The Hunt: Roblox 20 ends, to claim both badges and complete the hub rewards. In the hub, go to the 2018 island and enter through its red portal.

How to earn the R20 Event badge at the bakery

Select Roblox 20 on the HUD and choose Accept Quest. The quest presents three short objectives: build and launch a boat, reach the bakery stage, and make an anniversary cake.

Assemble a basic craft on your plot from several blocks and a steering seat. A motor or propeller makes steering through the river much easier, and this trip requires neither advanced nor unlocked materials.

Choose Launch and approve the confirmation. If your plot is empty, a warning says you need something built before launching, so place the hull and seat before trying again.

Use the party-hat marker and distance readout to travel down the river toward the bakery, about 2,500 studs away. Guide your boat past the rocks, fish, and rotating gear instead of hitting them.

Balance matters more than size. Spread your blocks evenly, keep the seat near the middle, and leave some spare material around your character, since the hull takes damage the whole way down. If a run ends early, the gold you earned can go into common chests for more planks before the next attempt.

Once inside the bakery, the Ingredients list shows milk, butter, and an egg. Green outlines mark all three; move into each ingredient to register it.

After that, the mixer and oven finish the process automatically. Pick up the Roblox 20 cake card when it appears, and the R20 Event badge immediately triggers a Badge Awarded popup.

A rolling pin moves around the bakery floor and can flatten you while you collect items. Move fast enough to gather all three ingredients, and the full quest stays under five minutes.

The waterfall route and the hidden book room

There is an alternate way through the river course. Rather than staying on the main path, steer toward the left bank at the waterfall, hop off, and walk through the falling water into a concealed chamber lined with bookshelves and a shut portal arch.

The books on the shelves open the door, but only in a set order, so clicking them at random gets you nowhere. Past that door is a corridor where airborne jack-o’-lanterns bounce in and detonate on impact. Keep moving through it — dying here wipes your quest progress. The tunnel eventually spits you back out at the river, and you cross to the bakery stage from there.

How to find all 25 “a piece of the past” puzzle pieces

Nothing on the map hints at this part. The hunt lives inside the build menu, and it stays invisible until you type the phrase in yourself.

In the build inventory, select the magnifying-glass field along the top and enter a piece of the past with that exact spelling.

The screen then shows a large handheld magnifying glass and a 0/25 counter. Purple puzzle pieces become visible only through the lens, so leave it lifted while searching.

Sweep the camp around the build plots first. Pieces sit on the grass, up in tree leaves, and along the wooden fence line, which is enough to get you into the low twenties.

Throw together a quick boat with a seat and launch. The last few pieces float out on the water, and picking them up pushes the counter to 25/25.

How to rebuild the logo on your plot

Reset your character to get back to the plot and open build mode. The collected pieces now sit in your inventory and behave like ordinary parts.

Spread the pieces over the grass field, then open a picture of the finished Build a Boat for Treasure logo to determine the correct spot for each one.

Rotate and connect the pieces one at a time. This is the slowest stretch of the whole run, because every piece has to be facing the right way before it will snap alongside its neighbors.

Finish by setting down the final piece. Completing the logo brings a disco ball overhead, with dancing noobs circling it, and awards the secret badge immediately.

Where to claim the secret item in the 2018 hub

The badge on its own does not put anything in your inventory. Leave the game, re-enter the hub, and head back into the 2018 area to pick the reward up.

Starting at the hub, descend beside the blue river and navigate among the floating islands until you spot the broad, stepped stone temple. Go up to Gert, the enormous purple figure at the summit, then pass behind him and take the ledge around the outside cliff. The item is floating there away from the main route.

That route also leads to the reward associated with the R20 Event badge. If you have not taken it yet, collect the two rewards during the same visit.
