THRESHOLD, Reskioat’s Roblox horror game, offers two routes: a story campaign and the survival-based Chase Mode. In Episode 2, you face a school massacre, save someone from a hospital, demolish a building, fight in a helicopter, and battle a horned beast. Chase Mode places you on maps with an entity that detects microphone input and chat; your sole task is to survive and escape. Here’s how to complete both modes.
Quick answer: In Episode 2, clear six students as Eli, rescue Danny, escort the school survivors, plant 6 C4 charges, survive the helicopter ride, then beat the horned boss. In Chase Mode, collect 3 Maintenance Keys (Eli) or 4 Password Papers (Scrow) while staying silent.

THRESHOLD Episode 2 walkthrough
Episode 2 opens with a short recap of everything that got you here, so you can jump in even if Episode 1 is currently being reworked and unavailable. From there the episode moves through a set sequence of events, each with its own objective.
Eli’s ritual and the six students
You start as Eli. Tanner and Wes stop him in the hallway and talk him into an old shadow ritual out on the football field. Eli stands on his own shadow and repeats “Stay with me” three times. Nothing obvious happens, but his shadow starts trailing behind him in an unnatural way as he leaves for his bus.
After the story skips forward to Lock-In night, Eli is back at school. The students mock him, triggering flashbacks that transform him into a crawler monster. Hunt down and kill 6 students, whose silhouettes you can see through walls. They run, but Eli is faster. Two are inside a classroom, another two are in the cafeteria kitchen, and Tanner and Wes make up the last pair in the field.

Rescue Danny from the hospital
Danny wakes in a hospital bed, roughed up but alive. He remembers you carrying him to safety at impossible speed. Everene arrives, surprised anyone survived Eli, and takes you down to Sub Level Three to test your strength and speed against the Shadows. You clear the test entities easily, and she sends you back toward Danny’s room.

Clear the school and find the three students
The helicopter takes you to Hollow Creek High, the first site where Shadows were ever reported. The guard who walks you in is snatched at the front doors, leaving you alone with a flashlight and C4, neither of which helps against the monsters. Your fists are your weapon. There are three survivors to find.

Plant all six C4 charges
Markers show exactly where the six charges go. Two sit in downstairs classrooms, one in an upstairs classroom, one in the gym, one in the cafeteria, and the final one in an upstairs classroom parallel to the cubby. Once all six are placed, return to the helicopter, pull back to a safe distance, and detonate.
Survive the helicopter ride
Shadows crash against the windshield and attempt to enter through the doors. Lean away from them with the A and D keys. Should one get inside, strike it before it eats away at your health. A couple of errors are survivable, though keep a close eye on the health bar along the screen’s top.
Beat the horned boss at Sub Level Three
Back at Sub Level Three, Everene runs more strength and agility tests, all of which confirm you are not fully human. An alarm cuts the session short. An unknown figure breaks through the wall and invites you to join his organization, claiming he taught the students the shadow ritual and that he has mastered his own Shadow instead of being consumed by it. The argument turns physical, so hit the buttons on screen to trade blows before he transforms into a massive horned beast.
After the final punch the boss falls, but you lose control of your own Shadow, grow into something monstrous, and black out. That ends Episode 2.

THRESHOLD Chase Mode: how to escape
Chase Mode gives you two separate pursuers to run from, each with its own map and collectible. The win condition never changes, which is to find your escape items and get out. You can jump in from the THRESHOLD experience page on Roblox.
Both pursuers react to sound. Your microphone, your typed chat, and certain in-game sound cues all give away your position, so silence is your main defense. The survival habits below carry across both modes.
- Cut corners to break the entity’s line of sight.
- Hide inside barrels or crouch behind objects when things get loud.
- Use graffiti on the walls to orient yourself in the maze-like layout.
- Keep your Torch and Radar running, but only swap Batteries once a device is empty.

Escape Eli with three Maintenance Keys
You spawn in the tunnels with the Shadow monster Eli hunting you. Find 3 Maintenance Keys and use them on the exit to escape. Key spawns are randomized, so check wall cabinets, metal panels, and side passages, since a key can be tucked almost anywhere.
The Torch lights the tunnels so you do not walk past a key, and the Radar warns you when Eli is close once it is powered. Batteries keep both running, and they are scarce, so do not burn through them early. During a chase, stay quick and quiet, cut corners, and duck into a hiding spot, because Eli will run you down the moment he has a clean line on you.

Escape Scrow with four Password Papers
Scrow is the dog mascot that trails you and baits you into talking back. Ignore the reassuring lines and random yapping, because the game can still hear you. Collect 4 Password Papers to assemble the escape code, searching the food court, shop and market areas, side rooms, and corridors.
Keep an eye on the noise indicator. When it gets too high, get away from Scrow and find a hiding spot. Don’t jump or sprint unless necessary; press z to crawl instead. When the screen warns “SCROW GAVE YOU AWAY — Run,” leave your hiding place and sprint immediately. Scrow makes the encounter less predictable, so breaking line of sight and staying hidden become even more important under the same rules.
You confirm a successful escape the same way in both modes: deposit the full set of keys or enter the completed code at the exit, and the round ends with you out of the facility rather than caught. Once you can clear both pursuers cleanly, the rest comes down to managing batteries and keeping your mic muted when it counts.
