The Thunderstorm Form of Scorchhowl is a weather-locked spawn in Aniimo. It only shows up in one region, under one weather condition, and it will not come back if you miss it. Everything about catching it comes down to being in the right place while a thunderstorm is active.
Quick answer: Thunderstorm Scorchhowl spawns only at Beast Fang Ridge during a thunderstorm, near coordinates (-1216, 1433). One appears at a time, it does not respawn, and you catch it with an Anipod Pro after weakening it.
Where Thunderstorm Scorchhowl spawns
In Breezy Plains, Beast Fang Ridge is also home to the regular Scorchhowl and the Alpha Scorchhowl boss. Find this form on the ridge northeast of Alpha Scorchhowl at (-1216, 1433). During a storm, look for the large lightning bolt that keeps hitting the cliff.
A few rules make this spawn strict:
- At most one Thunderstorm Scorchhowl can spawn at once.
- After you catch it—or if the storm ends before you do—it will not respawn.
- It exists only while Beast Fang Ridge is actively in a thunderstorm.
Drop a map pin at the coordinates before a storm rolls in, so you can teleport and run straight to the cliff instead of searching under a timer.

You do not have to guess the timing. Open the map, click the Aniimo icon for Beast Fang Ridge, then select the weather icon to view that region’s weather cycle. This shows the current weather and when the next shift happens, so you can plan the trip instead of arriving early or late.
There are two ways to line up a storm:
Wait for the natural weather rotation
Once you have pushed a region past 70% completion, its weather changes on its own every few hours. Beast Fang Ridge will eventually cycle into a thunderstorm without any action from you. This is the passive route and works fine if you are not in a hurry and can check back periodically.
Trigger the storm manually
To choose when the weather changes, turn in 60 Lumin Ambers altogether at the main tree branch. After receiving enough, the branch allows you to set the region’s weather whenever you want. This is the quicker method when Beast Fang Ridge is well below 70% completion, because weather can rotate slowly in a region that is still under-progressed.

Thunderstorm Scorchhowl stats and skills
Thunderstorm Scorchhowl is a Nova stage, DPS-role Aniimo with a dual Fire and Lightning element. Its Aniilog entry reads: “Struck by thunder, their muscles are enhanced, and the flames all over them turn blue as they burn hotter.” It is strong against Ice and Grass, resists Fire, Ice, and Grass, and takes extra damage from Water and Earth.

| Stat | Value | Stat | Value |
|---|---|---|---|
| 90 | P.Def | 119 | |
| 119 | M.Def | 75 | |
| 52 | Regen | 90 | |
| Base total | 506 |
The Scorching Flames trait boosts damage against targets you counter elementally by 25%. Hustle is its mobility skill; it spends stamina to increase movement speed.
Its learnable skills are:
- Lightning Kick — Leaps to dodge, then dives to hit targets around the landing point; a clean dodge deals 120% damage and inflicts Paralysis for 5s.
- Fire Kick — Leaps to dodge and dives down for area damage; a clean dodge deals 120% damage and raises its own damage by 20% for 20s.
- Burn Breaker — Charges and unleashes a forward blast; at max charge it consumes all EP and deals 30% extra damage per additional 10 EP.
- Fire Bolt — Launches a fireball and applies 2 stacks of Fire Debuff for 5s; can be aimed by holding the button.
- Falling Star — Ultimate that slams down with a flame-encircled fist for large area damage.

Because this spawn does not return, treat each thunderstorm like a timed event. Confirm the storm on the map, run to the (-1216, 1433) cliff, and keep an Anipod Pro ready so the catch itself is the easy part.
