How to redeem Train Sim codes
Step 1: Open Train Sim and enter the game. You can choose Quick Start or join a specific server first.
Step 2: Once you are in the Lobby, look at the bottom of the screen for the Codes/Products button. Select it to open the code entry field.
Step 3: Type an active code into the Type code here box. Then press Redeem.
Step 4: If the code is accepted, the reward is applied immediately to your account. For the active code listed above, that means a Coins reward is added right away.
Where Train Sim codes are usually released
Train Sim codes are typically tied to milestone celebrations and major updates. New code drops are usually tied to the game's official community channels, especially the Nexa Works Discord server and Roblox community.
What the Shunting update adds
The Shunting update introduces Shunter Mode, which shifts gameplay away from long route driving and into rail yard work. The focus is on moving locomotives in tight spaces, switching tracks, and building complete train sets from scattered wagons.
Shunting is available on select maps, including Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, and Italy. It uses locomotives built for frequent forward and reverse movement so wagons can be positioned accurately inside yard areas.
Coins remain one of the main currencies in Train Sim, alongside Bonus Tickets. They are used to unlock trains, improve locomotive performance, and support progression across different routes and systems.
