Train Sim is a Roblox railway simulation experience developed by Nexa Works, built around detailed European rail networks that span high-speed intercity corridors and scenic rural routes across countries including Czechia, Slovakia, Poland, France, and the United Kingdom. Codes reward you with free Coins — the primary currency alongside Bonus Tickets — which you spend on unlocking new locomotives, upgrading train performance, and progressing across the game’s various regional maps.

How to redeem codes in Train Sim

Open Train Sim on Roblox, then follow these steps to claim your Coins.

From the main menu, select either Quick Start to jump straight in or choose a specific Server you want to join.

Once you are in the Lobby, look along the bottom of the screen for the Codes/Products section and click it.

A text field labeled Type code here will appear. Type or paste your code exactly as written — these codes are case sensitive — then click Redeem. Coins transfer to your inventory immediately upon a successful redemption.

If a code comes back as invalid after you have typed it correctly, it has most likely expired and is no longer redeemable.

Shunting Mode overview

The Shunting Update added a rail yard–focused mode that shifts gameplay away from long-distance driving. Instead, players assemble scattered wagons into complete train sets and manage locomotive movement across tight shunting areas, with a strong emphasis on precision, track switching, and organizing freight efficiently. Specialized shunting locomotives frequently alternate between forward and reverse to position wagons into the correct formations.

Shunting is available on five maps — Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, and Italy. If you are planning to invest your freshly redeemed Coins, putting them toward a shunting locomotive upgrade before tackling one of these maps will make the tighter operational demands noticeably easier to manage.
