Apple is now rolling out the iOS 12.1.1 update for iPhone and iPad devices. The update brings new features such as haptic touch support for Notification previews on iPhone XR, additional carriers on eSIM enabled devices, live photo capture in FaceTime, and more.
The iOS 12.1.1 update is rolling out to all supported iPhone and iPad devices as we write. If you’re not seeing the update under Settings » General » Software Update section on your iPhone yet, fret not! You need to wait for a few hours. It’s a mass rollout, and hence it might take some time for the update reach your device.
However, if you are not the one who could wait, then download the iOS 12.1.1 IPSW firmware file from the download link below and manually install the update on your iPhone using iTunes.

We prefer installing iOS updates manually to our iPhone and iPad devices as it never fails, and is less prone to general iPhone issues that occur after installing an iOS update.
