Valorant hands out promotional codes every so often for cosmetic rewards like player cards, gun buddies, titles, and sprays. These drops tend to cluster around Pride Month, VCT tournaments, and Act launches, and they rarely stay active for long once they go live.

Working Valorant codes

There are no working Valorant codes to redeem right now. The last batch, tied to Pride Month 2026, expired at the end of June and nothing new has replaced it since. Valorant Champions 2026 runs in Shanghai from September 24 through October 18, and major VCT events have historically been Riot’s most reliable window for new codes, so that stretch is worth watching if you want the next drop.

Codes issued during VCT broadcasts can expire within 24 to 48 hours, so redeeming as soon as one goes live gives you the best shot at claiming it before it disappears.

How to redeem a code in Valorant

Codes can be entered either inside the game client or through Riot’s website. Both methods deliver the reward straight to your account, so use whichever is more convenient.

In the Valorant client

Open Valorant and log in to your account.
Click the Valorant Points icon in the top-right corner of the main menu.
Select the last tab on the right, labeled Prepaid Cards and Codes.
Type or paste your code exactly as written, then click Submit. The reward should appear in your collection right away, and restarting the client usually fixes it if it doesn’t show up instantly.

On the Riot Games website

Go to Riot’s code redemption page and log in with the Riot account you play Valorant on.
Enter the code and click Redeem. This route works well if you spotted a code on your phone and don’t want to launch the game just to claim it.

What Valorant codes reward

Every code so far has unlocked purely cosmetic items. None of them affect gameplay, so there’s no competitive reason to chase them beyond wanting the look.

  • Player cards — the banner shown on your profile and loading screen
  • Gun buddies — charms that hang off your equipped weapon
  • Titles — text tags displayed under your Riot ID
  • Sprays — images you can paint on surfaces mid-round

Weapon skins, Radianite Points, and Valorant Points are never distributed through this code system. Those only come from the in-game store, the Battle Pass, or the Night Market.

Expired Valorant codes

These codes have already run their course and will return an error if you try them, but they’re listed here for reference in case similar rewards return during a future Pride Month or anniversary event.
