Riot’s telekinetic Duelist arrives October 27, 2026, with a five-part kit built around utility you steer mid-flight.

Hush, Valorant’s newest Duelist, gets her own patch. Riot Games revealed her on October 18, 2026, before the Champions Shanghai Grand Final. Her kit is built around telekinesis: flashes, pulls, and an ultimate that you can redirect after they leave her hand.

Quick answer: Hush is playable on October 27, 2026, in Patch 13.09 with the Season 2026 Act 6 launch. Some regions get her on October 28, local time.

Riot hasn’t announced an exact launch hour. The one-day split comes from time zones. A player in the Americas will see the patch on the 27th, while parts of Asia-Pacific will already be on the 28th when the same update goes live.

How to unlock Hush after Patch 13.09

Hush won’t be in your roster automatically. Once the patch is live, you can get her in any of these ways:

  • Earn XP in her limited-time Agent Recruitment event, and you can recruit her for free.
  • Unlock her instantly for 1,000 VP.
  • Unlock her through PC Game Pass.

Hush is also the first Agent to launch since the Agent Mastery system arrived. She has her own in-game reward track, and its unlocks progress as you play her. When she’s unlocked, she becomes selectable in agent select and her Mastery track opens.

Hush abilities and keybinds

Her kit has four active abilities and a passive. Displacement, Flashbulb, and Suspension can all be steered toward your crosshair after you throw or fire them. Flow applies the same idea to her own body.

KeyAbilityWhat it does
PassiveTelekinesisLonger-range pickups and switches
CFlowAnchor, then propel to it
QFlashbulbSteerable flash
E (Signature)DisplacementSteerable pull and concuss
X (Ultimate)SuspensionSteerable orb that levitates players

Telekinesis (Passive)

Hush can reach farther than other Agents to collect weapons or the Spike and operate switches. On an eco round, she can retrieve a dropped rifle; in a clutch, she can secure the Spike without stepping into an open sightline.

Flow (C)

Flow places an anchor instantly. After a short delay, Hush is launched toward it. If you cast it while airborne, she hangs in place briefly before the pull. That pause can throw off an enemy’s crosshair placement and open angles that are normally out of reach.

Flashbulb (Q)

Pressing Fire sends it out immediately, while alt fire keeps it primed. Activate it again to launch it at your crosshair. It detonates when it strikes a surface or its delay runs out, blinding anyone looking at it. You can steer it in mid-air around corners or above cover before it explodes.

Displacement (E)

Displacement uses the same throw, prepare, and redirect controls as Flashbulb. When it explodes, it drags every player toward its center. Anyone who hits a wall or another player during that pull is concussed. It resets every two kills, so you can use it repeatedly during a long site take.

Suspension (X)

Her ultimate becomes ready instantly. Fire launches an orb forward, and your crosshair guides its path. Reactivate it or fire again to detonate it, lifting all players within the area into the air. While suspended, they cannot dodge your team’s follow-up shots.

Several pre-reveal leaks don’t match the final kit. Double Life, Secondary Projection, ability copying, wall-passing dashes, and side-specific ultimates are not part of Hush. She has one ultimate, Suspension, on both attack and defense.

Hush’s role, origin, and Agent number

Hush hails from Guangdong, China, and takes the Duelist role. She is the game’s ninth Duelist; Waylay was the last one introduced. Her reveal trailer is called “Rise and Fall.” In the lore, she is Agent 31, but she is only the 30th playable Agent since Agent 8 has yet to be revealed.

Her design favors control over raw aim. Riot built her around manipulating space by pulling enemies off held angles, bending flashes around cover, and suspending defenders mid-execute. That gives her a high skill ceiling. Nicholas Smith, Game Designer on Agents and Weapons, expects the community to push her further than Riot’s own testing did:

“We’re really excited to see what players do once they get comfortable redirecting her utility. We have the uses we designed and tested for, but VALORANT players are very good at finding angles and interactions we never expected.”

Whether that turns into a meta shift will become clear once Patch 13.09 is live on October 27.
