Everything Update 1 adds to the Bleach-inspired Roblox RPG, plus the working reward code.

Update 1 for VV: Ultimatum is live, marking the start of Act 1 in the Bleach-inspired Roblox RPG from Midnight Continent. The patch went out on June 20, 2026 at 4 pm UTC and brings three new race abilities, customizable organization bases, two raid-exclusive skill essences, and a long list of combat and progression tweaks. It also ships with a free reward code.

Quick answer: Open the codes menu in VV: Ultimatum and redeem UPDATE1 to claim the Update 1 rewards before the code expires. The new abilities are Praying Mantis (Arrancar), Demon Light (Shinigami), and The Iron (Quincy).

New race abilities in Update 1

Each of the game’s three factions gets a new endgame combat tool. These were teased on the roadmap as a Resurreccion, a Shikai, and a Schrift, and they are now available to players who have already unlocked the relevant race progression.

Praying MantisArrancar (Hollow)Resurreccion for Hollow players who have reached Resurreccion, modeled on Nnoitra Gilga.
Demon LightShinigamiShikai based on Ikkaku Madarame, available to Shinigami with Shikai access.
The IronQuincySchrift based on Cang Du, with six different variants. Requires unlocked Schrift access.

Organization bases and changes

The headline system in this patch is customizable bases for organizations. Leaders can now buy a base through the organization upgrade menu, name it, and decorate it using organization funds.

  • Bases are purchased from the organization upgrade menu, with multiple locations and appearances to choose from.
  • Leaders set a base name, which then shows up in the teleport interface.
  • Decorations and props are bought with organization funds, and you can freely place props and adjust their colors and materials.
  • Rank management is now available by default and no longer needs a separate upgrade.
  • The organization UI button moved to the top-left corner, and a new icon was added for opening the menu.
  • The level requirement to create an organization dropped from 35 to 20.

New skill essences and visual additions

Two raid-exclusive skill essences are now obtainable from raid rewards. The Hakuda Skill Essence and Speed Skill Essence both drop only through raids.

On the cosmetic side, the Malevolence spawn animation has new visual effects, and two new emotes were added, Day Three and Bye Bye. New models also arrived for the Goryutenmetsu dragon, a shark, and a water puddle.

Combat and progression changes

Several combat systems were adjusted for better responsiveness. Player M1 hitboxes were improved, dash invulnerability frames increased slightly, and landing M1 attacks now builds a small amount of Heat. NPC yellow attacks and zone attacks now display in orange, signaling attacks that cannot be blocked, dodged, or countered.

Early-game progression was eased to help new players level faster. Giant Dragonfly encounters were toned down across the board.

  • Giant Dragonfly overall stats reduced.
  • Dragonflies spawn later during encounters.
  • Danger effect timing adjusted.
  • The grab attack is now easier to avoid.

Quality of life and balance fixes

A wide set of quality-of-life updates landed alongside the bigger systems. Equipment tooltips now compare stats against your currently equipped gear, and Ascension EXP rose from 12.5% to 15%. Unused Ascension Shards are no longer lost when using APR or SPR.

  • A new photo sensitivity setting was added.
  • Taking damage while viewing the skill tree now closes the menu.
  • Players knocked down three times in a row now die instantly.
  • Psycho Crash now properly shows damage and posture damage values.
  • Thunderbolt aura effects are reduced when using Hakuda, and the Vasto Guard Break animation and Cero Absorption description were fixed.

For balance, the Superstar revive and guard break passives were fixed. Thunderbolt had its M1 damage and posture damage reduced, while Luminosity M1 synchronization was improved.

How to redeem the UPDATE1 code

Launch VV: Ultimatum on Roblox and load into your character.
Open the codes menu and type UPDATE1 exactly as shown, with no extra spaces.
Confirm the redemption. The rewards apply immediately, and the code stops working once it expires, so claim it sooner rather than later.

Official patch notes and any later codes are posted on the game’s official Discord server, which is the first place balance changes and announcements go live. With customizable guild bases, three faction abilities, raid-only essences, and a deep list of tuning changes, Update 1 stands as one of the largest releases VV: Ultimatum has had so far, and it sets up the four remaining chapters of Act 1 still to come.
