What the Bunny Pet Does in Grow a Garden 2 (+5 Walk Speed)

The Common Bunny boosts your movement speed, and stacking several makes you noticeably faster across the map.

The Common Bunny boosts your movement speed, and stacking several makes you noticeably faster across the map.

The Bunny is a Common pet in Grow a Garden 2 that hops around your plot and raises your movement. Its whole value comes down to speed, which makes it one of the more practical early pets to grab while you build up your garden.

Quick answer: Equip the Bunny as an active pet to gain +5 walk speed. Equip more than one Bunny and the speed bonus stacks, so several of them together let you move much faster across the map.

How to get the Bunny pet

Bunnies spawn randomly on the map rather than coming from a fixed shop. When one appears, walk up to it and buy it for 20,000 Sheckles to make it your pet. Codes do not grant pets, so saving up Sheckles is the only route.

Earn or save at least 20,000 Sheckles so you can afford the Bunny the moment it shows up.
Watch the lobby and map for a Bunny spawn. Each spawned pet has a timer above its head and will disappear once it runs out, so move quickly.
Approach the Bunny and purchase it. It then follows you to your garden. Note that if another player pays more Sheckles for the same pet, it will turn and head to their garden instead.

You know it worked when the Bunny follows you back to your plot and starts hopping around. Equip it in a pet slot to switch on the +5 walk speed bonus.

Stack Bunnies for faster movement

The speed buff is cumulative. Equip several Bunnies at once and each one adds its +5, letting you sprint across your garden and the wider map. That extra mobility helps when you are traveling between plots, chasing down other pet spawns, or moving in and out of gardens to steal from other players.

You start with 3 pet slots, which limits how many Bunnies you can stack at first. You can buy more slots with Sheckles to make room for a heavier speed setup.

Tip: If your main goal is mobility for exploring and stealing, filling your slots with Bunnies is a cheap and effective option. If you would rather grow crops faster or defend your fruit, pets like the Deer or Bee fill those roles instead while the Bunny stays focused purely on speed.
