What Zoe Says in Chapter 6 of Silent Hill: Townfall (CRTV Signal 01/02)

Zoe’s voice reaches Simon on the first CRTV broadcast of Chapter 6 in Silent Hill: Townfall. It is a short, looping message picked up on the handheld device, and it plays as a grainy black-and-white video feed once you lock the frequency.

Quick answer: Zoe says, “He shouldn’t have come back. Now I need to try again. I need to do it all again. Why did you come back?”

How to hear Zoe’s Chapter 6 broadcast (CRTV Signal 01/02)

This signal is captured entirely on your portable CRTV, so there is no receiver box to find. You only need to stop in the red-lit corridor and sweep the dial before moving on.

Raise the handheld CRTV in the red-lit corridor and begin adjusting the tuning frequency slider. Use the Q / E quick tuning to move toward the higher end of the dial, around Channel 63, until the FINE TUNE – SEARCHING status settles inside the reception window.

When the feed stabilizes into a clear picture, use the Store Signal prompt to bank it. The device then plays Zoe’s message as she repeats her line, and the broadcast files itself as 01/02.

You know it worked when the black-and-white video steadies, Zoe’s dialogue plays through, and the signal is saved as Chapter 6 – 01/02. This is one of the two Chapter 6 broadcasts that count toward the Sweeping Signals trophy.

What Zoe’s message means

The line lands as frustration and regret. Zoe is unsettled that someone has returned, and she says she now has to start over and repeat everything she did. When Simon picks this up on his CRTV, it plays as a warning aimed at him, framing his arrival at the Medical Centre as something that shouldn’t have happened.

The second Chapter 6 signal is not Zoe

Chapter 6 holds a second CRTV broadcast (02/02), and it is easy to mix up with Zoe’s message. After banking her signal, you open the Shorefront map to orient yourself and head toward the residential block to reach it.

That second signal sits on a tabletop receiver inside an upstairs apartment, and it requires the RGB alignment step before it will play. Zoe does not speak on it.

Once calibrated, the 02/02 broadcast plays a conversation between Mrs. McKenzie (Dianne) and Mary at 3 in the morning, in which Dianne tells Mary to look toward the hospital, says there are around 100 people, believes Joe is among them, and warns that there are body bags. If you were looking for what Zoe says, this transmission is not it.
