Hidden Mountain region and how to unlock it

Hidden Mountain sits north of Qinghe, sealed beneath heavy mist. The valley opens with water routes below and suspended walkways above, where mechanical devices of iron and wood share space with maple groves and fields of flowers. Ancient ruins scattered through the fog trace the Mohists’ unfinished work from a thousand years ago.

To open the region, reach Lv.32 and complete Hidden Mountain Main Chapter 2: Haven Astray. Exploring the area rewards the set Dyed Azure, earrings Armillary Stud, the player nameplate Artless Skill, the badge Truth Seeker, the mode-exclusive Soaring Token, plus Lingering Melody and Echo Jade.

Two smaller systems arrive with the region. Hidden Mountain Oddities adds four new catchable creatures made of wood, jade, metal, and pottery: Wicker Ray, Jadesong Cicada, Blackiron Pangolin, and Terracotta Boar. Meow Meow’s Treasure adds three modes, Flying Marquis, Cat Dwelling, and Cosmic Jade Linkage.

Mohist Hill sect and the new Gauntlets weapon

Mohist Hill is the new sect, a surviving branch of the Mohist Sect hidden beyond a suspended gate and waterfall north of Qinghe. Its disciples work quietly with mechanisms to help ordinary people, guided by the principle of Universal Love. To join, reach Lv.10 and complete Hidden Mountain Main Chapter: Haven Astray. You can also enter through outstanding construction work or a Master’s recommendation.

Sect members begin as Apprentices and rise through Waterworks Master to Great Mohist by choosing a research focus, studying under a mentor, and publishing findings. Chief candidates submit construction data for blind review. Sect features include greatly increased blueprint limits in Free Construction, new server-wide Divinecraft crafting abilities, and a weekly Construction Material Support Pack based on standing. Note that Mohist Hill replaces traditional discipline with outdoor baths.

The Sect Shop refresh adds the set, avatar, and nameplate Mountain Silhouette, the poses Summon Eagle, Mo Ruler, and Soaring High, and the sect inscription Mohist Hill, all exchanged for Reputation. A separate shop called Universal Love opens to Wanderers outside the sect as well.

Gauntlets: the new weapon and its Martial Arts

Gauntlets are the new close-quarters weapon, tied to Mohist Hill’s ideal of chivalry through direct force. They arrive with the new Martial Art Path Bamboocut: Kite. You can obtain the Gauntlet Martial Art Heavenwill Gauntlets by joining Mohist Hill or buying it from the Universal Love Shop. Completing Hidden Mountain Main Chapter 2: Haven Astray grants the paired Rope Dart Martial Art Skygrasp Rope Dart.

Heavenwill Gauntlets build momentum through the power of a hawk, with the fighter and hawk acting as one. Skygrasp Rope Dart uses reach and mechanisms to snare targets at range. Both perform well in boss battles and Arena, and can be paired freely with other Martial Arts and Mystic Skills.

Tip: If you want to test the new path before committing materials, the New Armament Drill event lets you try Bamboocut: Kite and its Inner Ways for free after reaching Lv.3.

Story chapters, campaign, and Jianghu Legacy

The Hidden Mountain Main Chapter prelude, Bringer of Embers, contains two chapters, Parting Tale and Haven Astray. It requires completion of Kaifeng Main Chapter 1: New Arrival in Kaifeng – The Welcoming Crowd. Finishing the prelude grants the inscription Cat Head, the hat Sparrow-Bot Hat, Lingering Melody, and Echo Jade, with more chapters planned in later updates.

The Campaign Changeless Heart can be replayed for a chance at the accessory Adrift in Azure, which is also available in the Season Shop. Two Jianghu Legacy volumes round out the region’s stories.

Multiplayer, Taiping Mausoleum, and Guild season

Two new multiplayer campaigns require Lv.96 and enter through Wandering Paths with AI companions or a team. Dragonscale Tamer is a 5-player Sword Trial and Carnival Voyage is a 10-player Hero’s Trial. Defeating Dragonscale Tamer can drop the accessory Rhythmic Thunder and the face ornament River Master Mask: Bloodscale, while Carnival Voyage can drop the accessory Drawn Moonlight and the hat Star on Stage. All four appearances were added to Season Shop – Appearance Exchange on July 23, 2026 for Appearance Tickets. Placement rewards for the new Phase 1 leaderboards are distributed at 5:00:00 server time on July 24, 2026.

Taiping Mausoleum starts Phase 1 of a new Path Trial season, running through September 3, 2026. Path Trial attempts reset to 5 and the Insight Jade cap resets to 600. Clearing Chapter 12 of any Path Trial reclaims the time-limited badge Taiping: Attain Samadhi and the hero title The Enlightened One. Bamboocut: Kite gains its own dedicated Path Trial challenges and buffs, and every Path receives three new True Ascension chapters.

Guilds move into the S4: Forged Ahead season. Guild Prosperity, Technique Development, and the Breaking Army leaderboard reset, with a portion of earnings carried over. July 23 to 31 is a preparation window with no League matches, though Guild War – Ranked Match stays open. Reaching 30,000 Guild Prosperity or winning one Ranked Match qualifies a guild for the League, which returns on August 1 with a three-week Placement Match phase. The Guild Reputation Shop adds the hat Sandswept Helm and face ornament All Shall Kneel.

Balance and system changes

Alongside the new content, Version 2.0 carries a wide balance pass focused on Paths that underperformed and on recurring pain points. The Buff Food category is now split into Vitality Food and Attack Food, which can coexist so you can raise both Max HP and Physical Attack at once, and Auto-Buff Items supports equipping both types together. Buff Food attributes now add directly to your Base Attributes before percentage buffs apply, and the character stat screen separates Base Physical Attack from Effective Physical Attack.

Damage-over-time Qi output has been standardized to a consistent baseline. Some effects gained Qi damage, such as Bleeding and High Bleeding from Strategic Sword, while others had it reduced, including Weeping Blood from Fivefold Bleed, Qingyi’s Poison from Bitter Seasons, Combustion from Dragon’s Breath, and Burning from Divinecraft: Fire. A new Dark Scorch branch on Dragon’s Breath lets multiple players stack their own debuff on a single target, removing the old limit where only one Wanderer benefited from Combustion.

Several Paths received targeted tuning, including Bellstrike, Silkbind, Stonesplit, and Bamboocut variants, with smoother skill chaining under high latency in Online Mode Boss and Boss Dummy for multiple weapons. Together the region, weapon, and balance work make Version 2.0 one of the larger content drops since the game’s Hexi and Imperial Palace chapters, and the Hidden Mountain storyline is set to expand in future updates.
