Where Winds Meet Tomb of Fortune: How the PvP Treasure Mode Works

A breakdown of the bow-only dungeon brawl, its three phases, and every point reward through 20,000.

A breakdown of the bow-only dungeon brawl, its three phases, and every point reward through 20,000.

Tomb of Fortune drops you into a pitch-black dungeon in Where Winds Meet, where you sneak between coffins for loot while other players try to drop you with a single arrow. It is a time-limited PvP mode built around treasure hunting and survival, and the points you bank across matches unlock a fixed reward track.

Quick answer: Play Solo or Duo matches, open coffins to earn points and temporary skills, and avoid getting knocked out. Hit the point milestones from 2,000 up to 20,000 to claim every reward before the event ends on July 23, 2026 (UTC+8).

Event window and version

Tomb of Fortune arrived with the Version 1.8 update. It started on June 25, 2026 (UTC+8) and runs through July 23, 2026 (UTC+8), giving you just under a month to grind the point track.

How combat works in the dungeon

This is not a standard duel. Inside the tomb, you can only attack with a bow and the Touch of Death Mystic Skill, so positioning matters more than raw reflexes. Quivers are scattered on the ground, and you pick them up to keep your arrow supply topped off.

Every player goes down in a single hit. Because of that, the smart move is to dim your flickering light whenever you sense someone nearby, since the glow gives your position away. Getting knocked out is harsh: it strips away all of the temporary skills you collected during that match.

Tip: Watch the mini map in the top-left corner. Enemy positions show up as moving red dots, so you can plan an approach without lighting your own torch. You can also wait for a rival to switch on their light and strike from the dark.

Coffins, points, and Explosive Arrows

The dungeon contains four rooms you can sneak into, and each room holds four coffins. Opening a coffin gives you the points that drive the reward track, along with temporary skills you can use for the rest of the match. Some coffins also stash items and special ammo, including Explosive Arrows that hit with a wider blast radius.

Since a knockout wipes your collected skills, looting coffins safely and staying alive is the core loop. The more you open without dying, the stronger you become for that round and the faster your point total climbs.

The three phases

Tomb of Fortune rolls out in three phases rather than all at once. Phase One launched with the event and centers on Solo and Duo matches. Phase Two is scheduled to add a new Special Skill into the mode’s mechanics, and the final phase will open a Hidden Tomb once you reach the upper end of the point track.

Tomb of Fortune reward track

Points accumulate across matches, and each milestone unlocks a one-time reward. The headline pulls sit at the top: the Veilstride appearance at 6,000 and the Tomb Raider reward at 20,000.

The fastest way to clear the track is to treat every match as a looting run first and a fight second. Keep your light low, read the red dots on the mini map, and bank coffin points before someone catches you in the open. With Phase Two adding a Special Skill on July 3, 2026 (UTC+8) and a Hidden Tomb still to come, there is room to keep climbing well past the early milestones before the event closes on July 23.
