Geno (sometimes written Genō) is the architect of nearly every threat that has shaped Fortnite's story. Geno built the Imagined Order to impose order across the Omniverse, and the Zero Point is the engine he uses to do it. He enslaved the Zero Point and bent its power toward his experiments. He sits above the IO's other known figures, outranking even Dr. Slone, and he holds enough control to erase records connected to his enemies.
One of those experiments is the Loop itself, an artificial time loop running 22 minutes. Geno's conflict centers on The Seven, the group that opposes the Imagined Order. The tension is personal. He is the biological father of The Imagined and The Order, two members of The Seven. His behavior toward his daughters hints that his cold exterior hides some real attachment, even as they stand against him.
His final words after his defeat at the hands of The Seven, delivered to Jones and The Foundation, frame him as someone who believed his plan was everyone's only hope, no matter how it was carried out.
The Ageless and the Oathbound Empire
Chapter 4 added another layer through a snapshot of Geno called The Ageless. That version revealed he was once the leader of the Oathbound Empire, also known as the Ageless Kingdom, where he served as its ruler, champion, and a knight before becoming the scientist who built the IO.
