Glorious Hunters is a Rogue Buccaneers faction quest in Windrose that sends you across multiple abandoned campsites, into a conversation with a grieving brother, and finally out to sea for naval revenge. The recommended level is 3, though being level 4 or higher makes the boar encounters and ship combat considerably smoother. Bring a few Healing Potions — the charging boars at the campsites hit hard and can knock you flat.

Finding traces of the Buccaneers — campsite locations
The quest triggers the moment you visit any of the abandoned Buccaneer camps and loot the quest-relevant items, so the order you tackle them doesn't matter. There are three camps total: the Abandoned Buccaneer Camp, the Abandoned Buccaneer Warehouse, and the Destroyed Buccaneer Fort. You only need the key quest items (the Broken Musket, Damaged Flask, and diary pages), but thoroughly searching each camp yields extra loot and environmental story details.
Abandoned Buccaneer Camp
Step 1: Climb the slope to the building's roof. The first Buccaneers' Chest sits next to some fallen planks up top. It can contain a Decoration: Food Preparations item and a Rum Bottle, though the loot varies.
Step 2: At the front of the ruin, examine the Old Rag for a warning message. Just inside the doorway on your left, interact with the Shabby Desk.
Step 3: Round the corner to the left to find the second Buccaneers' Chest. This one holds the Broken Musket and Marcel Boucher's Diary — both are quest items you'll need later.
Step 4: Cross to the opposite side of the ruins. Examine the Abandoned Belongings by the far wall, then loot the third Buccaneers' Chest on the other wall for additional gear like a Rapier and Homemade Gunpowder.
Abandoned Buccaneer Warehouse
Step 1: Outside the camp walls, interact with the Practice Target — a boar head mounted on a pillar. Also, check the Old Tanning Rack on the left-hand side of the entrance.
Step 2: Inside the camp, look for Piled Crates to your right. To your left, an entryway is blocked by stacked crates. Use your axe to hack through them, revealing a Supply Cache behind the blockade. This cache can contain a Fast Travel Bell.
Step 3: Climb the building and jump across the wooden platforms to reach the vantage point at the top. The Buccaneers' Chest here contains the Damaged Flask and a Page from Marcel Boucher's Diary.
Destroyed Buccaneer Fort
Step 1: Enter the fort and examine the Old Skeleton beneath the skeleton dangling from the archway.
Step 2: Go up the stairs to your right and around the corner to investigate the Broken Gate.
Step 3: Inside, look left for a watchtower connected to the main camp by a broken wooden bridge. Jump the gap to reach the Buccaneers' Chest on the other side. It can hold Copper Bullets, Iron Bullets, and Homemade Gunpowder.
Step 4: Return to the main building and climb the wooden ladder propped against the wall. Loot the Old Skeleton on the top platform for potential drops like a Sturdy Rapier, Minor Healing Potions, and Elixirs of Precision.
Step 5: Drop back to the main level and hop over the short ruined wall ahead. An Old Skeleton crumpled in the corner on the other side may contain the quest items Torn Hat and Marcel's Last Letter. If not, head back to the Broken Gate, turn left, follow the wooden planks, and check the final Old Skeleton on the ground below.
Reporting to Henri Boucher at the Rogue Buccaneers Main Base
Once you've collected all of Marcel's effects, a new map pin appears pointing to the Rogue Buccaneer camp on a remote island. You'll need a ship to reach it — if you haven't completed the "I Need A Bigger Boat" quest yet, do that first.
At the camp, you'll find a Bounty Agent, Buyer, Provisioner, and Henri Boucher, Marcel's brother. Speak with Henri and ask about the musket. Hand it over, and he'll learn the truth about his brother's death at the hands of Blackbeard's pirates. This completes Part 1 of the quest (earning 50 XP) and immediately transitions into Part 2, where Henri asks you to avenge Marcel by sinking three pirate ships.
Destroying three pirate ships
Set sail from the Rogue Buccaneers Main Base. The three pirate vessels are marked on your minimap, so locating them is straightforward. Engage and sink all three using your ship's cannons. If your ship feels underpowered, make sure you've stocked up on cannonballs and repaired your hull before heading out. The fights are manageable at level 4 or above, but lower-level ships may struggle with sustained broadside exchanges.
Returning to Henri and quest rewards
After all three ships are at the bottom of the sea, sail back to the Rogue Buccaneers Main Base and speak with Henri one final time. He thanks you for avenging Marcel, and the quest completes.
