Wizard Alchemy: All 18 Owl Statue Locations (Owl Hunt)

Where every owl sits across Departure Island and the Sea of Oblivion, plus the broom and rank you need first.

Where every owl sits across Departure Island and the Sea of Oblivion, plus the broom and rank you need first.

The Owl Hunt scatters 18 Owl Statues across the two main islands of Wizard Alchemy, and a fair number of them sit in spots you would walk past without ever looking up. Seven are on Departure Island, and the other eleven wait in the Sea of Oblivion. Before you start, two pieces of progression decide whether you can even reach them.

Quick answer: Equip a broom, ascend twice to hit Junior Apprentice rank, then collect 7 owls on Departure Island and 11 in the Sea of Oblivion using the locations below. The broom is mandatory for rooftops, the lighthouse, and elevated rocks, and Junior Apprentice unlocks the second island.

Requirements before the Owl Hunt

Several owls sit on towers, treehouse roofs, and high rock formations, so a broom is not optional. The Apprentice Broom also lets you reach the Sea of Oblivion portal, which floats in the air. Reaching Junior Apprentice requires ascending twice, and the Sea of Oblivion stays locked until you do.

RequirementWhy you need it
Broom (Apprentice Broom)Reaches rooftops, the lighthouse, helmet rock, and the floating portal
Junior Apprentice rank (ascend twice)Unlocks the Sea of Oblivion, home to 11 of the 18 owls

Departure Island Owl Statue locations (7 owls)

Owl 1: Climb the rocks across the waterfall near spawn until you reach a pond. The owl rests on a cluster of grassy rocks behind that pond, close to Harryint’s quest board. It blends into the stone, so look carefully.

Owl 2: From spawn, look straight ahead at the tall pillar-shaped rock on the mountain. Head behind the waterfall beside it, and the owl sits just below that rock pillar.

Owl 3: Keep walking toward the edge of the map until you reach the snowy mountain. The owl is wedged between two snow-covered rocks along the cliff line, so follow the ridge to spot it.

Owl 4: Fly to the top of the lighthouse near the sea. This one sits at the highest point and cannot be reached without a broom.

Owl 5: Climb onto the roof of the treehouse in the central tree of Departure Island. This is the largest owl of the set, and you can see it from the ground to line up your approach.

Owl 6: Find the helmet-shaped rock formation above the Dwarf King boss area. Fly to the top, enter the small cave inside, and the owl waits at the far end.

Owl 7: Look to your left from spawn to find a waterfall. Climb the rocks behind it, and the owl hides among the outer rocks facing the sea. That finishes the Departure Island collection, so make sure you have hit Junior Apprentice before moving on.

Sea of Oblivion Owl Statue locations (11 owls)

This island is bigger and built around the volcano, so several owls cluster near the lava waterfall while a couple sit on outlying islands that are easy to overlook.

Owl 8: Go to the center of the island and climb the burning, charred tree. The owl rests on the highest branch.

Owl 9: Directly across from Owl 8, face the mossy rock formation. The owl stands on one of its smaller ledges among the pile of rocks.

Owl 10: Jump or fly onto the rock formation in the middle of the island, with the waterfall on one side and the volcano behind it. The owl stands on one of the ledges overlooking the volcano.

Owl 11: Head further in until you find the ruins surrounded by lava. The owl sits on top of the structure.

Owl 12: Follow the lava waterfall back to its source. The owl waits on the edge of the cliff where the lava starts to flow.

Owl 13: From Owl 12, keep climbing to the highest point of the same cliff to reach this one.

Owl 14: Move beneath the lava waterfall and face the ocean. Three small pillars rise out of the water, and the owl hides behind one of them. This is one of the easiest to miss.

Owl 15: Circle around the outer side of the lava waterfall cliff. Look for the green ant roaming nearby, then check the rocks just below it.

Owl 16: From spawn, head toward the rear of the map until you reach a cliff that overlooks the Magic Foraging island. The owl sits on the outer edge of that cliff.

Owl 17: Travel to the Ashen Ruins island, diagonally to the left of the main spawn. The owl rests on a rock close to the island.

Owl 18: Stay at Ashen Ruins and check the pillars around the island’s edge. The final owl sits on the outer ledge of one of them.

Pirate Island Owl Statue locations

A Pirate Island area adds more owls beyond the core 18, with several tucked into docks, caves, and underwater spots.

OwlLocation
19From the small starting island, go down to the dock. The owl is hidden underneath it.
20Cross the nearby bridge and look right. The owl sits on the rock below an open dock.
21Back across the bridge, take the rock steps right to the giant peach seashell, swim to the small pool, and check behind the two crates in the corner.
22Past the Owl 20 spot, enter the whirlpool in the ocean. In the room, turn right and look behind the large blue crystal.
23Climb toward the top of the island near the pirate flag. The owl is on the edge of the ledge.
24Head to the sunken ship near the whirlpool. The owl is behind the wooden plank by the large sail.
25Enter the cave behind the larger pirate ship, stay right, and look near the back of the ground. It is very dark, so watch for the pickup prompt.
26From the same spot, go left to a gate, unlock it, enter the cave, and climb the rocks on the right. The owl is on the upper ledge.

What Owl Statues do

Owl Statues are collectibles tied to the Owl Hunt and the in-game index. Each statue you grab registers on your collection count, and completing a world’s set is linked to that world’s title reward. Beyond filling out the index, the statues currently have no other gameplay use, though that could change with future updates.

Tip: If you want a clean sweep without other players grabbing owls ahead of you, run the hunt on a private server. Keep the broom equipped the whole time, since the rooftop, lighthouse, helmet cave, and volcano owls all need flight, and a few of the trickiest spots are Owl 6 and Owl 14.
