Brooms in Wizard Alchemy are purchasable mounts that let you cover the map without burning through your dash cooldown. Two are in the game right now, sold at fixed locations for Coins, and each one has a different acceleration profile that affects how quickly you reach top speed.

Every broom in Wizard Alchemy
The Apprentice Broom is the entry-level option and is easy to pick up shortly after starting. The Lava Broom is the upgrade pick, with roughly double the acceleration values and a noticeably higher top speed, but the 50K Coin price tag means you will need to grind enemies or sell potions before you can afford it.
| Broom | Rarity | Acceleration | Max Acceleration | Price | Location |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Apprentice Broom | Common | 10 | 35 | 3,000 Coins | Under the portal at Departure Island beach |
| Lava Broom | Epic | 25 | 50 | 50,000 Coins | Right of Alchemy in the Sea of Oblivion |
Acceleration controls how fast the broom builds speed when you hold forward, while Max Acceleration is the ceiling it can reach. The Lava Broom wins on both counts, which is why it is the stronger travel option once you can afford it.

Broom controls
Flying is mapped to the same movement keys you already use on foot, so there is no separate learning curve. Equip the broom from your hotbar, point the camera where you want to go, and hold forward to accelerate.
- Press the hotbar number assigned to the broom to mount it.
- Aim with the mouse on PC or the D-pad on console and mobile.
- Hold W or forward on the D-pad to accelerate; releasing it slows you to a stop.
- To land, tilt the camera toward the ground and keep holding forward.
- Press the same hotbar slot again to dismount.

Which broom to pick
If you are still in the early game on Departure Island, the Apprentice Broom is worth grabbing immediately for 3K Coins. It is a clear upgrade over dashing on foot and pays for itself in saved time. Once you progress to the Sea of Oblivion and start farming higher-tier enemies, save up for the Lava Broom and treat the Apprentice Broom as a stepping stone. The Lava Broom’s higher acceleration and max speed make every cross-map trip noticeably shorter, which matters when you are hunting chests or chasing down the Big Bird’s Nest spawn.
