The Warrior’s Path is the opening class quest for Warrior characters starting out in Thendal Village on Zephras Isle, and it is over almost as soon as it begins. There is nothing to kill and nothing to collect. The whole objective is to read a note in your bags and then walk it over to the Warrior trainer standing inside the village tower.

Thendal Village is the hub you spawn into, and it is busy enough that the tower is easy to walk straight past. Trainers and vendors such as Tai’ree Farsight, Dalia the Collector, Minxxi Chu, and Aetheen of the Gales are all clustered nearby, so use the tower silhouette rather than the NPC crowd as your landmark.

Read the Crumpled Note before you move

The Crumpled Note sits in your backpack from the start. Open your bags and right-click it to read the text, which is signed by Buckston, a Warrior Trainer, and points you toward your next stop.

Visit Blademaster Ren, the warrior trainer, inside the main building of Thendal Village. He can offer you work once you have trained properly.

The note is the quest’s only real instruction, and it also tells you that Ren has follow-up work once you have trained with him, so it is worth reading rather than skipping.

How to reach Blademaster Ren in Thendal Village

Open your backpack and right-click the Crumpled Note. Close the reading window once you have the name Blademaster Ren.
Open the world map to confirm you are in Thendal Village on Zephras Isle. This also lets you orient toward the village center before you start running.

Head for the large tower in the middle of the village. It is the tallest structure in the area and sits next to the open courtyard where most of the NPCs are standing.
Enter the tower at ground level. Blademaster Ren is just inside on the lower floor, marked with a yellow question mark above his head.
Speak to him and click Complete Quest in the dialogue window. His greeting line is “So you’ve come for training, have?”

How to confirm The Warrior’s Path is complete

Three things change the moment the turn-in registers. Check them before you wander off looking for the next objective.

  • You gain 85 XP in the reward panel.
  • The Warrior’s Path drops off your quest tracker.
  • The yellow question mark over Blademaster Ren and on the minimap disappears.

If the question mark is still sitting over Ren’s head, the dialogue window was closed before Complete Quest was clicked. Talk to him again and finish the prompt. With that done, he is your Warrior trainer for the rest of your time on the isle, which makes the tower worth remembering as you pick up the next set of objectives around Thendal Village.
