The Coiled Isle hides 11 Skyriding Glyphs, and grabbing every one awards the Coiled Isles Glyph Hunter achievement. These glowing sigils sit on mountaintops, inside stone serpent statues, and along broken ruins, so a single flight loop around the island is enough to sweep them all if you know where to look.
Quick answer: Collect all 11 Skyriding Glyphs listed below across The Coiled Isle. The moment you pick up the final one, the Coiled Isles Glyph Hunter achievement fires automatically.
Before you start hunting glyphs
You only need one thing to begin: access to The Coiled Isle itself. Once the zone is unlocked, you can fly across it freely and pick up every glyph in any order. Each glyph appears as a bright, spinning symbol floating in the air, so you just fly through it to collect it.
The TomTom addon makes this far quicker. Paste the coordinate lines below into it and it drops waypoints you can follow one after another, which turns the hunt into a straight flight path instead of guesswork. It isn’t required, but it saves a lot of circling.

Exact spot for each glyph
Most of these are easy to spot from the air. The table pairs each glyph with its coordinates and the precise landmark to fly toward.
| Glyph | Coordinates | Where to look |
|---|---|---|
| The Fangs | 37.4, 60.5 | Atop the tallest mountain on the island, between the Gate of the Western Fang and the Gate of the Eastern Fang. |
| Blistering Terrace | 42.9, 30.6 | On the mountain southeast of Zul’jan’s shrine. |
| The Serpent’s Tail | 52.0, 38.4 | Under a stone formation beside the venom river running through the area. |
| Gate of the Serpent’s Eye | 43.8, 44.2 | In the Venom Rise area, tucked under the underbite of the Stone Serpent statue. |
| Tokka’s Landing | 58.9, 48.9 | Above the arch at the center of the hub. |
| Wreck of Paku’s Talon | 70.3, 48.2 | In the eastern part of the Whispering Marsh, atop a broken tree. |
| Gate of the Eastern Fang | 45.8, 64.9 | After the bridge southeast of Tokka’s Landing, above the snake statue on the gate. |
| The Whispering Marsh | 64.1, 60.6 | In the eastern Whispering Marsh, on top of a broken tree. |
| The Forum | 26.6, 63.1 | In an arch just left of the entrance to the Gate of the Western Fang. |
| Wreck of Sethraliss’s Scales | 28.8, 75.2 | Just south of the Forum, on top of a mountain overlooking the area. |
| Southern Island | 40.6, 90.5 | Near the top of the smaller mountain on the island at the far south of the zone. |
The one glyph that trips people up
Gate of the Serpent’s Eye is the only tricky pickup. Fly to the Venom Rise area and head to the large Stone Serpent statue at the gate. The glyph is not out in the open. It sits under the serpent’s lower jaw, inside the mouth of the statue, so you have to dip down and fly into the underbite to reach it.
Note: The rest of the island’s glyphs are visible from a distance once you’re in the right area, so this is usually the last one people are missing when the achievement won’t complete.
How to confirm the achievement unlocked
The Coiled Isles Glyph Hunter pops as soon as you fly through the eleventh glyph. If it hasn’t triggered, open the achievement in your log and check which glyph names are still unmarked, then fly back for the missing coordinate. Because completion is tracked per glyph, one skipped pickup is the only thing that keeps it from finishing.
Worth noting: The Coiled Isles Glyph Hunter is separate from the main Midnight Glyph Hunter meta. That meta covers Eversong Woods, Zul’Aman, Harandar, and Voidstorm, and awards the Crimson Dragonhawk mount. The Coiled Isle set sits outside that meta and doesn’t currently grant a mount of its own, though clearing it is quick and rounds out the zone’s exploration.
