The two new Resonators arriving with version 3.6 bring an Aero Sword user and a Fusion Broadblade wielder to your roster.

The version 3.6 update for Wuthering Waves adds two new Resonators to the game, Qingxiao and Jingran. Both characters already appeared briefly during the Mengzhou main story quests, and the drip marketing reveal confirms their Attributes and weapon types ahead of launch.

Quick answer: Qingxiao is a 5-star Aero Sword user releasing in phase one, and Jingran is a Fusion Broadblade user releasing in phase two.

Note: Some kit and role details below come from leaks and may change before the final release.

Qingxiao: Aero Sword user, phase one

Qingxiao is a 5-star Aero Resonator who fights with a Sword. She is a reclusive sword cultivator and the Xuan Paragon of Xuanfang Hold, and her swordplay was already shown in a main story cutscene, so the weapon type is no surprise.

Leaks point to her being a main DPS built around Tune Strain, tied to a new Sonata Set and Whimpering Wastes tokens. Alongside her Sword, she carries a guqin that acts as a secondary support weapon. Together they build up points that raise her damage output.

Because Qingxiao was revealed first, she launches in the first phase of the 3.6 update.

Jingran: Fusion Broadblade user, phase two

Jingran is the second playable character in version 3.6, a Fusion Resonator who wields a Broadblade. He is a Mengzhou-born Nethermancer who travels between mirage realms and the ruins of the old world, and he assisted Suisui during the main story quest.

Leaks describe him as a shielder and main DPS who is strong in aerial combat. Details on the rest of his kit are still thin, so the full picture will come closer to his debut.

Since he was revealed after Qingxiao, Jingran arrives in the second half of the 3.6 update.

No official banner dates or exact release times for version 3.6 are confirmed yet. What is locked in is the pairing itself, an Aero Sword main DPS in Qingxiao and a Fusion Broadblade unit in Jingran, giving Rovers two distinct additions to plan their teams around when the update goes live.
