Servers come back after a scheduled maintenance window, and the moment they do, Qingxiao’s debut banner, the next chunk of the Mengzhou story, and a fresh event slate all unlock at once.

Kuro Games takes the servers down roughly seven hours before the new version opens. During that stretch you cannot log in at all, on any platform.

Maintenance sometimes wraps early, so the seven-hour figure is a ceiling rather than a promise. Once you can log back in, check your in-game mailbox. Kuro sends Astrite compensation for the downtime there, and that mail is the simplest confirmation that your client is on the new version.
Preload Version 3.6 before the servers return
Preload for 3.6 opened on August 18, so you can have the files ready and jump in the second maintenance ends instead of waiting on a download.
What unlocks the moment 3.6 launches
Phase 1 banners open at the exact same time as the version itself, so the release times above double as the Qingxiao banner start time. Phase 1 runs until September 10, 2026, when Jingran takes over alongside Hiyuki and Mornye reruns. The full patch is scheduled to end on September 30, 2026.

Story content arrives on day one as well. Chapter IV Act III, “Song of the Heart Sword,” continues Rover’s time in Xuanfang, and the Chapter IV Segue, “The Nethermancer’s Requiem,” digs into Jingran’s lamp. The Ren Realm opens up as a new explorable area, the Calamity Effigy shows up as both an enemy and a 4-cost Echo, and the Myriad Snare: Rustfire Chassis Tactical Hologram becomes available.
Events go live on the same schedule, including the Resonance Sim Realm roguelike mode, the co-op fight “If Dreams Still Reverberate,” the qin-playing event “The Strings Remember,” the returning “Second Coming of Solaris: Coded Deception,” a Wuthering Exploration run at Fogveil Pagoda, and the “Gifts of Drifting Mist” login rewards.
Note: the three codes handed out during the August 7 preview broadcast expired on August 9, so they will not work at launch.
If the game still shows 3.5 content after maintenance ends, the usual cause is an unfinished download rather than a server issue. Close the client, let the launcher finish decompressing, and relaunch. The version number on the title screen and that compensation mail will tell you when you are actually in.
