Wuthering Waves Rebecca: Free Release in the Cyberpunk Edgerunners Collab (June 8)

Wuthering Waves Rebecca: Free Release in the Cyberpunk Edgerunners Collab (June 8)

Rebecca joins Wuthering Waves through the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners crossover, landing in update 3.4 as a five-star Electro resonator who fights with a pistol. She drops the same day as the explorable Night City area and debuts alongside her fellow Edgerunner, Lucy. The big draw is simple. Every player can claim her without spending pulls.

Quick answer: Rebecca releases in Wuthering Waves version 3.4 on June 8, 2026 (UTC+8), and she is free to claim for all players during the update.

Rebecca release date and version 3.4 banner

Rebecca becomes available on June 8, 2026 (UTC+8), the same day version 3.4 and the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collaboration go live. Her banner stays up for the entire six-week run of the update, so there is no narrow window to catch her.

Her banner does not use the standard convene currency. You pull on it with Dreamcatcher Tides, the collab-specific tickets tied to the event. That keeps her pulls separate from your regular character banner economy.

How to get Rebecca for free

You can add Rebecca to your roster at no cost while update 3.4 is active. This is the headline reward of the collaboration, so claiming her does not require pulling on her banner.

If you want extra copies for her resonance chain, or her signature pistol, those still come from pulls. It is not confirmed whether Rebecca will return in a later rerun or whether this is a one-time release, so claiming her during 3.4 is the safe move.

Rebecca weapon, attribute, and kit

Rebecca is a five-star Electro resonator who uses a pistol. Her signature weapon is the Skull Thrasher, one of two new pistols arriving with the collab. The other, the Spectral Trigger, belongs to Lucy.

In combat, she alternates between a pistol and a shotgun, and she brings out a Gorilla Arms attachment during her ultimate. With enough energy, she can leave a turret on the field when you swap her out, and she gains special animations when paired with Lucy.

Who is Rebecca in the Cyberpunk Edgerunners crossover

Rebecca is a fan favorite from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, a brash, gun-toting fighter with a chaotic streak. In the show, she develops feelings for David, which adds tension, given that Lucy, also playable here, is his girlfriend.

She arrives through the new episodic quest At Dream's Edge, where Startorch Academy teams up with the Edgerunners to defend Solaris against Nightmare Tacet Discords. The collab is set in Somnoire: Night City, a neon cityscape built from Lucy's memories rather than the real Night City.

Rebecca voice actors

Rebecca's voice cast has not been officially confirmed. The strong expectation is that the original Edgerunners performers reprise their roles, which would mean Alex Cazares in English and Tomoyo Kurosawa in Japanese.

Note: Treat the voice cast as likely rather than locked until the in-game credits go live with update 3.4.

Once update 3.4 is live, you will know Rebecca is yours when she appears in your resonator list after completing the claim step in the event menu. From there, you can level her with Nightmare Flashdrive, the material dropped by the new Nightmare: Adam Smasher boss, which also powers up Lucy.
