Xanthe’s Recruiters: Just a Bit More Walkthrough in The Blood of Dawnwalker

Clear the Blood Guard camp east of the Silty Mug Inn and claim the Phial of Ambrus’s Blood.

Just a Bit More is one of the Blood Guard recruitment Court Activities tied to Xanthe, and it is the shortest route to a Legendary blood phial in the whole set. The camp holds only a small handful of recruiters instead of a full outpost garrison, so it is one of the cheapest ways to push Xanthe’s Anger level up while walking away with something genuinely useful for your Vampirism tree.

Quick answer: Travel to the recruiter camp east of the Silty Mug Inn, kill the Blood Guard recruiters, deal with the Blood Addict who interrupts you, then interact with the golden box and choose to collect the Vrakhiri blood. That costs 3 time segments and hands you a Legendary Phial of Ambrus’s Blood along with 100 XP, 1 Skill Point, and 200 Denarius.

Where to find the Just a Bit More camp

The activity sits south of Svartrau City, on the ground just east of the Silty Mug Inn. Like every Court Activity, it shows up as an unknown marker until you get close enough to identify it, so if the icon has not resolved yet, ride out to the inn and approach on foot from there.

Open the journal and select Xanthe’s Recruiters: Just a Bit More so the objective “Defeat Blood Guard recruiters” is active. Tracking it puts a distance readout on your HUD, which matters because the camp is tucked off the road.
Bring up the world map and confirm the yellow objective marker sitting near the Silty Mug Inn. Fast travel to the closest unlocked point and set off east.

Follow the path across the bridge toward the marker. The camp sits just past the crossing, and the recruiters will not aggro until you are almost on top of them, so you can approach at your own pace.

How to clear the Blood Guard recruiters

Talk to the Blood Guard when the conversation triggers, then expect a fight regardless of how you answer. This is a small group rather than a fortified camp, which is why it is such an efficient Anger contribution.

Open on the closest recruiter and keep varying your attack direction. Blood Guards are tougher than ordinary humans and eat stamina when you trade blocks with them, so avoid mashing into their guard.
Spend your Activation Charges as they build. Abilities like Voracious Bite and Death from Above end individual recruiters far faster than a normal combo, and clearing one enemy quickly stops you from getting surrounded.

Loot the bodies once the camp is quiet. The recruiters carry Recruitment Instructions, a Blood Guard’s Sobriquet, and crafting odds and ends such as Cave Fungus.

The Blood Addict interruption: kill or spare

Walk up to the golden box and a Blood Addict cuts in before you can take anything. He is flagged with a warning prompt, but he is not a hidden fail state. Choosing “Knock yourself out” resolves the encounter without a second fight; taking the aggressive route just means killing one more blood-addicted enemy. Neither choice changes the reward or blocks the activity from completing.

Claiming the Vrakhiri blood and quest rewards

With the addict handled, interact with the golden box again and pick the option to collect the Vrakhiri blood. Time jumps forward when you take it, which is the confirmation that the activity registered.

You will know it worked when the clock advances, the XP and Skill Point notification fires, and the journal entry closes out. If nothing happens when you interact with the box, you have almost certainly left a recruiter alive somewhere in the camp, since the objective needs every Blood Guard down first.

What the Phial of Ambrus’s Blood unlocks

Drinking the phial raises Coen’s Corruption by a noticeable amount and opens up Scarlet Shield in the Vampirism tree. It is a passive defensive perk that returns health whenever you block well, which makes it a strong pick before the harder southern regions.

Note: this is not the only source of Ambrus’s blood. The Lost Blood quest, which starts at the broken blood barrels north of Pilgrim’s Trail Shrine, also yields a phial from the Murohn boss at the end of the blood trail.

Camp loot and the Infamy cost

Do not leave the moment the quest ticks over. The chests and containers scattered around the tents are worth more than the quest payout in raw value, holding a Majestic Greatsword, Skender’s Sins, Golden Tableware, and a Vial of Human Blood.

The catch is that some of these pickups count as theft and push an INFAMY INCREASED message on screen. Nothing here fails the activity, but if you are trying to keep a low profile in the region, it is worth knowing that the greatsword and the tableware come at that cost.

Two more recruitment activities work almost identically. Taste of Power in the Svartrau courtyard yields a Phial of Brencis’s Blood, and Come Home yields a Phial of Bakir’s Blood, each for another 3 time segments. Both have a nearby chest containing a document that reveals a further Xanthe activity on the map, which makes running all three in sequence the fastest way to fill out her Court board before The Cycle of Love opens up.
