Zanpakuto Parts in VV Ultimatum: Handle, Guard, and Hilt Explained

The three components Shinigami players need to build a working Zanpakuto and start Shikai progression.

In VV Ultimatum, the Roblox action RPG inspired by Bleach, a Zanpakuto does not arrive ready to use. Shinigami players have to put it together from three separate components before it becomes their main weapon. Until all three are combined, you cannot wield the blade or begin its growth path.

Quick answer: Combine the Handle, the Guard, and the Hilt to assemble your Zanpakuto. Once all three parts are joined, the weapon is equipped as your primary weapon and links directly to the Shikai system.

The three Zanpakuto parts you need

A Zanpakuto is built from three pieces. Each one is a separate part, and the weapon only functions when all of them are assembled together.

PartRole
HandleOne of three required components to form the Zanpakuto
GuardOne of three required components to form the Zanpakuto
HiltOne of three required components to form the Zanpakuto

This makes the Zanpakuto different from the Quincy race’s Spirit Weapons, which are obtained directly rather than assembled from parts.

How assembled parts connect to Shikai progression

Once the Handle, Guard, and Hilt are combined, the finished Zanpakuto becomes your main weapon for the rest of the Shinigami path. From that point, the weapon is tied to the Shikai progression system.

To advance through that system, you meditate and build up Shikai XP. Accumulating enough XP unlocks stronger stages of the Zanpakuto, and each weapon comes with its own moveset. Shinigami Zanpakuto can have two or three different forms, including Shikai and Bankai.

Hollow access to customizable Zanpakuto parts

The Shinigami race is not the only one that interacts with Zanpakuto parts. Hollow players can also use customizable Zanpakuto parts, alongside their own separate weapon pool.

For Hollows, the Zanpakuto arrives during a later stage of progression. After a Hollow rips off its mask and turns into an Arrancar, it gains a Zanpakuto. The Resurrección weapon, however, is not available the moment you become an Arrancar.

StageWeapon access
Arrancar (mask removed before Vasto Lorde)Limited to 3 unchangeable traits; no Resurrección weapon until you reach Level 25 and unlock Resurrección
Vastocar (mask removed at Vasto Lorde)4 unchangeable trait slots; Resurrección weapon available

To equip the Resurrección weapon as a Vastocar, press E twice on PC. Removing the mask also locks your traits and costs you the Cero and roar abilities, though Cero can be regained through the Kido skill tree for Arrancars and Vastocars.

The core takeaway is simple. A Zanpakuto is never a single drop. Collect the Handle, Guard, and Hilt, combine them into one weapon, then meditate to feed Shikai XP into it and climb through its stronger forms.
